Ron Yamaha lol, I said the same thing, Baron makes one called a Profiler and I have it on mine, requires epoxy and not to use the one provide but a premium brand form the hardware store also It cap is removable from the treading so you can paint it or plastidip it.

What mileage is reseted? Odometer or pedometer?

Got to write down that current mileage on the old meter to transfer to the new meter. When I traded a bike in I had to sign a form at the dealer that the mileage listed on the odometer was accurate. Most likely it is a prosecutable offense to make false statements on this form.

Hello! I just installed the Koso unit. When you turn on the key but the engine still doesn't start, why is the oil lamp asleep ??? After an oil change, every older motorcycle has signaled for a little longer ... the xv950 goes to sleep immediately. I have an xsr engine still lit here. If you run out of oil..are kosos be sure to alert me?

Did you have to do anything for the tach to work? What about the fuel gauge?

fuel gauge will only display with low alarm

Hello I do according to the instructions, the wheel size is exactly measured. Two measurements: - I measured the length of the trace according to the instructions 1980mm / 2080 = 95.1% -wheel diameter 630mm x 3.14 / 2080 x 100 = 95.1% Difference: 100 km / h (GPS) via 153 km / h (KOSO). The difference in speed is over 53%. Maybe something else needs to be set? Do you have any idea for proper programming? greetings Jarek

The fuel meter it is not working, as bolt don’t support the signal 😢

What happened at 5:56 when the speedo jumped to 115 and then back down at 6:07? Does that happen a lot?

It seems to have confirmed the highest speed record while driving. You can check the maximum speed and maximum temperature in the recording menu.

No ,but I know some model may need adjust the rate ,default was 100 you may try with 56 and find the close one, for you reference 😀

What rate did you set it to for an accurate speed count? Is the speedo easily set to miles?

i dont know off the top of my head and it is stupid easy to switch from km to miles. can be done in under 1min.

100 for my case , some of use 64 ,it is easy change to miles you can see the manual :)

I don't know, but mine closes ~140ºC with traffic, around ~115ºC driving on highway. I have this meter.

Nope no gear indicator, no fuel level, no rev counter, and all the better for it, proper retro bike 😀 oh and five speeds too, who needs six !

@@mikeaustin7627 The original does have fuel indication which lights up when Low. Also, are you sure about the rev counter? I've seen a guy going through the menu (the small numbers below speed indicator) and there is an option for rev counting (with numbers). It's been a while since I've seen it but I definitely did. Idk if he did something to the speedo first though.

Anybody have first hand experience with this speedo? Is it easier to see in direct sunlight than the stock speedo?

Just installed mine today and yes, VERY EASY to read in direct sunlight. You almost have to stare at the stock one for a good 3 seconds to see what the speed is. That's 3 seconds you're not looking at the road!
