did you wash the plastics first ? in what temperature to melt it and doesn't make a smoke ?

Great job! Very unique! Moving the receiver platens, instead of the hydraulic press head, would streamline your line you can unload parts, while compressing next piece. Also, feeding directly to your cooling stations via conveyor would help. You should probably also consider 'continuous' throughput as opposed to your single 'batch' operation.
