thesaurus' lines about how their lives have gone farther because they're still on earth was amazing, and it wasn't even a punch line. it was about how time progresses more quickly in space without gravity as in a nebula. damn, he gets a lot of props for that stash line

That has to be one of the first dual doubletime's in a two on two battle and it's sick. Thesaurus really stepped up his double's after Storm and he should really focus on writing some double time rebuttals like the one he pulled on Dirtbag until people stop using it in battles.

This is a good battle. It was perfect. I thought that pete and greg would murder both Sketch and Nebula, but honestly it was a good battle. It wasn't a huge loss for either team, but ill mac and saurus got it. One of the better two vs two battles that have been happening for sometime now. I have to say it's some of the most unique ways to come at illmac that i've seen. Props to both who spit this, it was a dope battle and much appreciated KOTD for doing what they do.

@hybridevil At least until the finals. They might have their hands full if they run into Arcane again, but I'd love to see a Thesaurus/Illmaculate vs. Real Deal/Fresco finals, and I'd also put HFK/Charron as a dark horse candidate with a potential of doing damage.

@DarthSkater6 I agree. I had a feeling that Thesaurus would have to do a lot of the work since Illmaculate had his own battle with 9DM the night before. Sketch Menace and Nebula brought it, but I gave it to Thesaurus/Illmaculate 2-1. I was really impressed with Sketch's interview afterwards, he has a lot of class and I wish him the best of luck against Bender. (Although I'll still be rooting for Bender)

round 1: the saurus & illmac round 2: Sketch Menace / Nebula Round 3: Tie. OT. The Saurus and ill mac bodies them first round 2nd round was dope on both sides but sketch and nebula were far more versatile, 3rd round so so close, if The Saurus and Illmac bodied them like the first round I would have said them, but it was too close. shoulda been OT.

@MrPuffPass Hard to say, in my opinion. I'm not a huge fan of Dbd, but I will admit his doubletimes are clean. I think what makes me like Nebula's doubletime more is the longevity of it. and usually when someone does a doubletime, they follow a pattern, but Nebula's was all over the place(in a good way)
