What a great conversation! I enjoyed it so much, no commonplace questions, so genuine...I could listen to Billy Bob talk forever, such a rarely charismatic, authentic person. Thank you for this!

Love it. Bring him back again - love the stories. Forgot that Chat Show shared the Cardinals with Billy Bob. Sure that BBT was pleased that Kevin discussed his music/music career. BBT could take on radio a la Don Imus. Has the western thing, the music thing, the humor thing, the folksy/pally nature, and a point of view, plus plenty of pals to drop in. Yeah, may be the hat thing too. Good job by all. BBT needs to stop smoking (couldn't resist).

you could stick billy in a room with one of those pink flamingo lawn ornaments and it would be a more intelligible conversation than 75% of the crap people are putting out these days. put in kevin and yes, there is such a thing as perfection, fleeting as it is, its nice to sit back and watch the pros

it is a great show and a good flow... except kevins occasional but constant long pauses before he moves on to the next question. i dont know if its pretension or nerves or just thinking or what but its pretty anoying sometimes. flamingo lawn ornaments lol.

To correct Billy Bob, you can find the Sports Illustrated image about Cardinals' salaries with a search. Javier made $45,000 in 1967, not $8,500. And the Curt Flood trade happened after the 1969 season and Free Agency didn't happen until 1976 I think - which is why Peter Gammons titled his book Beyond the Sixth Game (referring to Carlton Fisk's home run game in the 1975 world series), alluding to the changes taking place after that season.

About Deflate Gate and the Patriots, if I may... A couple of seasons before the Pats played their most hated rival (sorry Billy Bob and the Colts) the Jets. And at one point Brady took a snap and clearly the ball was over-inflated. Like 4 or 5 psi over. Presumably they lost to Rex and the Jets and Tom wasn't too happy and I'm sure had the ball weighed and found it was much heavier than even the legal limit. So Brady told that guy - the one who took the balls into the bathroom - "Make sure this never happens again. The f'ing Refs did that on purpose to f with me and just however you do it, make sure I never get a ball pumped up that much again!" That idiot took it upon himself to simply deflate any balls he felt were over inflated by feel in the few moments he had in the bathroom with the ball. I do not believe Tom every told him or even wanted him to deflate the balls below the legal limit. (This jets story was told during the media storm and quickly ignored but I knew why Tom or whoever put it out there) My evidence for this is the belief that insanely rich Tom Brady's lawyers would let him lie in a deposition. They wouldn't have allowed him to do that - they would have quit before letting him do that. So when Tom said he didn't do it, I believed him. Because I'm not an insane moron. Another fun fact is, prior to this, the Jets kicker was found deflating balls on the sideline of the game and was not punished at all (the equipment guy got a fine or something). If you don't understand how insane that is how nonsensical America is by this point I can't help you. Please, don't get me started on Spy Gate...
