Stars fan here also from Dallas! I have to say, much respect to you and the knights! After watching the mic’ed up version of the handshakes between Peter DeBoer and Vegas after game 7 and hearing a majority of the knights roster telling DeBoer to go win it all was wholesome, especially Pietrangelo saying “my wife said if we don’t win we’re both rooting for Dallas to win it this year”. This just proves that the knights aren’t all that evil haha. If there’s one player that I truly cannot stand in the league, that guy is Patrick Maroon. Us stars fans have something against that guy and my cousin is not fond of him at all 😂

Insanely good series. Honestly a disservice to NHL fans that this fight happened in the first round. This was conference final worthy.

From Dallas with love, I loved the video, liked and subscribed. Your family seems lovely. When Vegas got a team, and then went on that legendary run, I was a VGK background fan from the start. I loved that an expansion team could come out swinging, and prosper in their first year. I loved how they were quickly made the villain because, there are teams that have been in the league for 30 plus years without a cup. I've grown to love and hate Vegas. But for the right reasons. They are fun to watch, but now they keep getting in my Dallas Stars way. I'm glad you brought up how this is becoming a rivalry, because it absolutely is the bright beginning of one. Hehe, yall can replace the Red Wings, since they moved to the Eastern Conference, but none the less, they are a very solid team, and continue to be one. So management found a few loopholes to take advantage of; yall aren't the first, and that's an onus on the league. Vegas is still dangerous, and we saw that this series. May we meet again in the playoffs next year and give you guys a chance to tie up our all-time play-off series record. In the mean time, LET"S GO STARS!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for putting on the best 1st round series of the year (by a landslide slide)… definitely hoping you implode next year because I want a top 10 pick for Hertl in 2025. Still can’t believe you guys picked him up, that was such a dagger in a season where I didn’t know it could get worse for the Sharks. (I guess there were a lot of those moments this year though) Hope you guys kill it in 2026, can never count Vegas out. Your guys bold move are changing hockey and it’s been fun to watch.

Actually Pete Deboer made it to the cup finals twice. Once with New Jersey and once with San Jose. Don’t sell the guy short. It’s the hardest trophy in professional sports to win and will only get harder with all the expansion teams they are planning to add.

Their Stars didn't score either. Their depth players out scored ours. And they played the kind of defense we played last year , Dallas wanted it more...nuff said. Go Vegas next year !!

Hell of a series! It was fitting to see Stars and Knights go to game 7 after last year. Stars dealing with the next circle of hell with the Avs. Vegas has a great squad. I’m sure both teams will see each other in the playoffs again next year! Stay awesome!

Stars fan found your channel this series. This series the first two games I feel like yall had our number and we could only score if lucky bounce or the smallest of miss plays. Games 3-7 almost all goals both sides came from bounces or small misplace. It could have easily both ways. Yall played amazing. If you watch any of the rest of the stars games please let me know if you think the national broadcast are biased against us. It’s something that the fans on Reddit have talked about for a while. Just want an outsiders perspective and you have been open and honest for both sides and I appreciate that.

Avs fan here. My family went to a Knights game earlier this season and had an absolute blast. Amazing atmosphere and great fans. I'm sure there's reason for a rivalry (as you said, one of the great things about sports!), but no hate here, at least. And, yes, we know all about losing in the first round... it's a grind, and players are even more worn out/injured in a year after the Cup.

Dude. I am a true Dallas Stars fan. Grew up a Minnesota North Stars fan cuz I was born in Minnesota. Even though Minny later got the Wild, my loyalties stayed with Dallas. I would not have followed you whatsoever if it wasn't for this series. In all honesty, it was fun watching your reactions throughout a tough series between two evenly matched teams. Your family is awesome too. Much respect to you and thank you for the support moving forward! Colorado is playing well so that will be a tough out too but we are up for the challenge!

Benn showed real maturity this series, I think it proves he felt a deserved embarrassment from last year. Him stepping up with an immediate response after Stankoven was leveled, but with a clean hockey hit was nice to see. Well, nice to see for a Stars fan lol. Anyways, good commentary hope you continue to cover the playoffs despite the loss.

Could’ve been a very different game if Eichel hit that empty net shot. I also don’t know how I feel about stone taking a cross check from one of our players to his injury. That might as well have taken him out of the game.. Vegas is a great team, but Dallas was better. Great series-couldn’t have asked for more!

Well brother man, winning streaks come to an end eventually. That’s just how it is. Dallas was the better team through a majority of this series. To be quite honest…I had a gut feeling this was coming. And this exit doesn’t sting NEARLY as much as previous ones because the Knights literally won the cup last year. Also I had a gut feeling the Stars would win the series after it became 3-2. So not much else to say, one team wanted it, the other team not as much and it showed. Congrats to all the Stars fans out there. You guys deserved it and I wish you all the best moving forward! Cheers

Dallas stars fan here and I don't want to be bias at all (it does feel like a bit of a revenge/redemption from last year). I'm not quite convinced about the ltir stuff, simple solution dressed players must meet cap requirements. That being said if Vegas lineup developed some chemistry between the lines, Dallas would have been smoked. Definitely the two best skaters for Vegas imo was Hanifin and Eichel. Y'all played well, probably one of the greatest series that I've watched. Shame that it had to go down in the first round. Glad to see a Vegas fan being reasonable when it comes to game time. Dallas and Vegas does have a Rivalry brewing for sure and I love to see it. Love to see that you involve your kids in the hockey culture, I hope to do that with mine when me and my newly wed decide to have kids!

I can’t stand McKinnon but the Avalanche need to wipe out the Stars. The amount of harassment and rudeness from the Stars merits a quick loss at the hands of the Avalanche. I’m so sad we didn’t play to win today after that shut out the other night, putting Hill in was a mistake. I get he shut the stars out the other night but we needed LT, also we need to talk to our new guys. Diehard Stars fan here, great series versus prob the toughest team in the NHL imo! Y'all played hard to the end. Will be honest, I'm not a fan of the LTIR rule but I don't blame most of your players or coach for that, I think the league needs to change that rule personally but Eichel and Thompson were absolute nightmares for us to play against in this series along with more of your strong depth but those were the highlighters from your team. Just like you don't like Jamie Benn, I'm certainly not a fan of Mark Stone as most Stars fans aren't lol but he def seemed like he was slowing down in the later rounds of the series despite his long recovery in the regular season, hope he does make a full recovery though. Look forward to playing against you guys next season as well after the Stars finish off Colorado here soon!
