and hand shake doesnt mean resign.. it means a draw.. I know he couldnt win so he did that because of the trebuchet position but technically you would think he could say Nakamura agreed to a draw..

@ravras I have also seen sensor boards, that will also record the time, so players don't have to bang clocks.

I think kramnik overlooked the potential of the bishop g4 was a blunder though he seized an initiative on the king side attack Nakamura is smart with endgames.
@cmonnnsi12 жыл бұрын
5:20 Kramnik sacrafices a rook by the king, black bishop takes it, white bishop takes the black one, black has to make a move (doesn't matter what, he'll lose), white rook checkmates

Why not? Because you'll read things related to the video, and discussion about it between people who have already watched it. If you want to avoid getting spoilled just watch the video first and then read the comments.

@gentilguy yes, I think this win by Nakamura was because he had opposition on Kramnik. But what can Kramnik do to get the draw?

@twinklingWater9511 жыл бұрын
at the begining they just use premade movements and later they dont think that much...
@bladerhenry256110 жыл бұрын
allright there is f5, but anyway after Ree7 black must play Rg6 to avoid draw from repetition, and then the d5 pawn becomes scary, because blacks bishop and a4 rook are out of play.
@BachehKhala12 жыл бұрын
you shouldnt read comments before you've seen the entire game dude
@bladerhenry256110 жыл бұрын
didnt kramnik miss the chance to win at 6.17? how can nakamura defend from Be4+ instead of taking the f7 pawn? i think Rg6 is forced. g6 runs into Rxf7+ and Rh8 mate, and Kh6 is mate again with Rh8. Am i missing something?

Blitz is like a crap shoot really. Anything can happen. If they played a 100 straight games, then you would have a better indicator who is the superior player. 1 or 2 games means nothing.
