Nice bud. I went with a cheap servo. I'll let you know how it goes. My $50 Raminator servo is actually doing a good job so far 👍. I had to put the 6s strap in the middle since those stock straps are not good enough when doing big air. Keep an eye on them. I've broken a couple before and replaced them with the small 6s strap.

Did you have any issues fitting that servo? I saw a post on the Arrma forum from someone who couldn’t fit it in even with the larger mount. It seemed like the servo was too tall. Also what voltage are you running the servo at?

Why use the 1241 and not the 1240 is the 40ozin of torque make that much of a difference?

Great video I need a little help so I did everything you said and the only problem I have it my car turns more towards the right then it does to the left and I don’t know why but when I lift the outcast up it turns both sides perfectly and I’m running a Reefs 1/5 servo.

Maybe try recentering the servo by removing the horn, ensure your steering trim is set to zero and then reinstall the horn with your wheels straight. Then any final adjustments can be made with your steering trim.

So I did what you said and it just won’t work I can turn to the right perfect but the time left barley, do you think if I center the servo horn that would be better then having it at the angle because I had at the angle and it won’t go the left, so I’m so confused and frustrated

Hey I’m kinda stuck, put everything together and my truck does a hard left circle doesn’t stay straight at all. Do you think it has something to do with the servo horn cup? I’m not sure what to do. Thank you

I would remove your steering link and service horn, turn the truck on and make sure your steering trim is set to neutral, then make sure your wheels are completely straight and reinstall the horn and steering link.

Did you figure out how to mount the two antennas for the receiver in the box? I believe I have the same receiver, is a Radiolink, right? I just got the Kraton 8S EXB yesterday, and I was thinking of using the same receiver with my Radiolink radio. I was trying to figure how to put the antennas?

Hey boss what type of grease did you use when putting together the servo saver. I just got the outcast 1/5 exb and my servo came in so that was my next step

Hi, I enjoyed your video very much. By the way, I'm using the same servo as you, but the cover can't close at all, isn't it?

Right. It’s a super tight fit. What I had to do is loosen the servo screws so it can move out a couple millimeters, put everything in and put the cover on. Then retighten the servo screws.

Hey I got a new kraton 8s and x maxx and I just got castle 2028 1100kv which truck would you put in or would you recommend getting exb outcast or kraton 8s

I would put it in the Kraton 8S as the XMaxx doesn’t really benefit from the extra power (unless you like to break everything)

Quick question I’m using Spektrum 14.8V 5000mAh 4S 50C battery on my kraton 8s but it seems to give out a lot I’m thinking about going with another brand any recommendation on the best batteries to put in a kraton 8s I look for batteries on Amazon that people have recommended on KZfaq but all I see is bad reviews it seems like on Amazon it’s a hit or miss

@@GoKaioken me too 😂 like far right 90/100 right but hey it's straight as an arrow now🤷🏾♂️ I swear I took it apart and adjusted 10x, it's gotta be a turnbuckle length issue😂

That’s weird! I only did like 30 to the right. Are you using the same servo as me? 1/5 scale box? EXB?

@@GoKaioken I'm using the spektrum S9110BL 1/5 scale, one more tooth to the right or left is too much I got it the best I could so it's gotta be my servo arm🤔

@@GoKaioken I put a vitavon servo horn on and it got me to the point I'm at the stock one was giving me a headache lol
