you can run that servo at 8.4v

Nice setup..! Is that factory EXB motor mount? I'm about to build a 1/5 outcast exb and got same ESC motor combo and same servo you have.. Just purchased a 35T and 39T Mod1 Safe-D8 pinion gear from ARRMA and gonna put on the 39tooth spur. My buddy just got a sick build like this off ebay brand new only difference is he's got the 800 motor.. The 1-1 ratio I must say was sick.. However, he just called me saying something went down.. lol 2nd run and I think he may have broke his center diff. doing standing back flips .. It's got the huge 1/5 Trencher Pro-Loc tires on it.. Thing is a beast.. waiting for him to tell me what he broke..

I’m running the same setup. My motor is continuously overheating. Thinking of dropping down to a 27T pinion but it’s not overly fast as it is

How did you fit 27t without having issues with motor mount screw that goes in from bottom of chassis? Mines fits also but I have to leave screw off cause if I screw it the mesh is super tight?

Good shit, im locked in on the 30tp and 39 spur 1100kv motor. You still running that setup
@Gambit8six3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I still run the 30. I’m also at 10 degrees timing on the 1100. I do plan to get a 38 tooth pinion just for crazy ramp hits though lol. That way I can hit that ramp at 70 plus.

Does your steering rack hit the back of the motor?
@NepDouble073 жыл бұрын
How has the steering been on your rig? I've heard there's been some issues with the plastic end links, for the turnbuckles.

The steering is pretty good. I do have the better servo as well as a set of belted tires on it. Both of those make a big difference. I haven’t had any issues with the steering links. But I mean anything will break if you land it wrong hard enough. I send that truck harder than most I would say and have minimal breakage.

How have your temps been? Doing the same setup in my outcast 8s EXB. I did the jx2070mg servo, supposedly 1k oz at 7.4v and fits perfectly in the 1/5 tray, but not waterproof.
@Gambit8six2 жыл бұрын
Temps were good till it caught fire. I have to send it in to castle for warranty. Go into the settings and set the motor timing to zero. Don’t run any advance. It comes with 10 degrees. Sounds like a good servo, waterproof isn’t a big deal unless you submerge it.

Are your six pack wheels still together? I can’t get more that 15 minutes out of them.
@Gambit8six2 жыл бұрын
Oh man I haven’t driven the truck since it caught fire. I had all 4 separate from the wheels though. I think the glue they use is really thin and you need some thicker stuff

How do like that 7pxr? Thinking about buying one soon, I don't race or anything yet just bash. Would it be overkill?
@Gambit8six3 жыл бұрын
For me having adjustability in not just the trigger and wheel resistance as well as placement. But being able to tune the steering rate and endpoints , expo, throttle curve. It is very worth it to me. Another point is how many models you can run off the one remote. Telemetry is also a nice feature. Not that lesser remotes don’t have these features but I like having the big screen for telemetry. And if you have the money just buy what you want in the first place.

@@Gambit8six dude I feel the same way so bought 1 and it'll be here Saturday, I have the 3pv but I want more. Should of bought this one first lol🤷🏾♂️ thnx for laying that all out, now I feel better about my purchase.

No problem, Glad I could help. It’s a big purchase but worth it.

I have the same servo I'm trying to fit in there. Did you just cut it straight across? I should test fit it but would like to know before I just start pulling stuff lol
@Gambit8six3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I just trimmed across until it was wide enough. I marked it where it needed to be cut and then filled the cut areas with silicone.

@@Gambit8six ok thnx I'm sure I'll figure it out, at least I know it can be done.
