Aaron Taylor Johnson is 1 of the most underrated actors period. He was absolutely amazing in bullet train. Most people won't recognize that he's the kid who played kick-ass which was another great performance by him.

If you really want to experience Kraven, buy the Graphic Novel version of Kraven's Last Hunt. It's about 25 years old, it's the last time this character was portrayed correctly, and it's awesome.

Holy crap! That guy's a chameleon! I've been a fan of his since Kick-Ass and this is the 2nd time in a year I saw him in a role and thought "why's that guy look so familiar?" On 2nd watch I'm kicking myself thinking "How did I not immediately recognize him?"

Only because he buffed up a lot and was given Bullet train first role. He's joined the ranks of all actors with freak physiques that are after super heroes roles. Before, he had a unique face, a unique attitude and a unique acting signature. Now he's brawling, jumping, shouting and shooting bullets. Nothing that hasn't been seen and done before by Chris Prattt, Helmsworth brothers, Dave Bautista and The Rock. Still like him but with less interest.

From this trailer I am getting zero ties to the original character who happens to be my favorite. They seem to give him some wacky Spidey powers from blood versus the man who sips on herbs and uses his mind and body to peak performance. The Deus Ex Machina approach always seems cheap. Kravens Last Hunt stands up there with DKR, Watchmen and Born Again in my humble opinion

Comic book Kraven ( Kravinoff) had a Russian aristocratic background and was a brilliant big game hunter who got bored hunting animals for sport. He's most likely loosely based on the Zaroff character from Most Dangerous Game ( Richard Cornell). This original version relied on his animal tracking/ hunting skills plus various plant and animal derived potions and serums to enhance his strength, senses and healing ability, making him a match for Spider - Man.

I only know of Kraven cause of the new Spider Man 2 demo that just showcased on Playstation. Super excited to see this one. Huge fan of Aaron Taylor Johnson since seeing him in Bullet Train. I've seen rumors of him potentially in line for the next James Bond so I am eager to see him in a more fleshed out action role.

The entire premise doesn't fit the character. It feels like Tarzan, Shang chi and Spiderman dumped into a blender. There trying to force a stand alone franchise out of this character. And he's not strong enough It's not Spider-Man. It's a villain of spiderman.

Yeah... they took a totally new take, with a redeemable backstory, new powers which really differs from his first goal (in the trailer he is PETA, in comics and cartoons he wants to be the Apex Predator). Also i would have preferred a bulkier actor, really personal.

I was more than a little skeptical given that they're changing basically everything about Kraven. I was not expecting this setup or this kind of brutality, especially in the TRAILER. If this delivers on the premise its giving the way it shows here..its got real potential. Let's see what Quicksilver and Zeus can do here. Oops I mean Kraven and his dad.

The premise changes might be the problem. They don't have any respect for the source material. They want this to be PETA/ Fabio , Tarzan -i defend the defenseless victims of my father. Be it human or animal. He then puts both hands on his waist and puffs his chest out. The lois lane/ Mary Jane knock off character is standing behind him with her hand on his shoulder. "Smiling". Sony: "give us your cash..... At least for the opening weekend. Before you get wise and realize this is another dud".

The casting choice for Kraven is great however Aaron's voice isn't menacing or intimidating, he doesn't have the deep hunting-esque accent that would really give him an edge to his character, he doesn't seem much of a threat except for his supernatural abilities, his voice should have a modulator or something that can really show his predatory killing machine aura when he's speaking.

Yeah, someone in the film production crew should copy and paste someone else’s voice on Aaron, just like what the devs of Star Wars did for Darth Vader’s voice because his original voice actor/actor didn’t have the menacing voice and bloodthirsty aura of which Darth Vader is known for.

It wont work well with how they will do it. I promise they will simply make Kraven an anti hero that helps spiderman defeat the ACTUAL bad guy in the coming film or films. Spiderman will remind him that there isnt any sport in hunting him because there is a bigger badder guy out there that they need to join sides to defeat. That or Kraven will lose someone he loves and will blame spiderman but later realise that spiderman had nothing to do with the whole thing. I dont know. All i know is that the writting will be lacking. The only thing that could save the future films is that if Kraven and spider man becomes a Horror esk film where we are actually worried for spidermans life.
