The tested Semprio had a 14x1 muzzle thread and was chambered in .30-06 Springfield. As with all guns of this type, Krieghoff relies on a manual combi-cocking device. This system does not require a separate safety device, as the gun is carried completely uncocked and is only cocked immediately before shooting and thus made ready for firing.

It would seem that the sliding would wear the rifle out quickly to me ! Also, how is accuracy ?

Its accurate but keep in mind its a European gun so it prefers European ammo

Depends on the spec. MSRP 5k but you can find cheaper with discount.

@@paulb9265 You can try various online shop like Eurooptic. When compared to Merkel and Blaser this one actually cheaper. Or, just like the other two you can buy parts. The most expensive part of this gun is its stock, already eat half if its cost.

They make beautiful guns. The optic moving is not ideal, either is moving all that mass. Both would screw up speed/accuracy. The pump has already been perfected, 760 gamemaster carbine in 30-06. Looking at the new euro straight pull bolt guns, the merkel helix has a great idea that can transfer to pump guns, shorten the stroke. They have a cammed bolt, bolt moves half the distance of the action.

That just looks way to fragile to me. Especially since the whole front half is sliding forward on the bolt and a guide rail.

Beautifully engineered hunting rifle! I have just watched a comparison produced by USOG ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hpaSmqyf25ycgZc.html ), which brought me to your article and now your video. But I would be concerned about dropping a rifle worth more than my car.
