I was gonna say that too, he says it's not good in arena but if Paladin can play Doomsayer on turn 2 in constructed and have it survive I am pretty sure you can do it 10x better in arena.

+Kyrator88 The thing is that in constructed it's pretty common for people not to have minions on the board for a couple turns, whereas in arena they usually do, meaning it's easier to get rid of a doomsayer

+Kyrator88 They don't need 7 damage on the board, just enough damage to be able to take out the doomsayer with whatever they can play on turn 3, which if they've played a minion turns one and two is pretty likely. Doomsayer is also often used past turn two in constructed.

lets see. doomsayer dies to 2 magma ragers without killing them, while 2 moonfires can kill the ragers. that means doomsayer is worse than moonfire BY FAR! 2 mana for nothing vs 0 mana infite value? doomsayer is shit!

Kripp made an analogy. He said the cup was Arena, he then used a cup of water as a symbol for the collective knowledge about hearthstone balance. The analogy went something like this: I have a problem with this cup. There's no water in it. Now, I have this bottle of water, and I could pour the water into the cup, but I'm not sure if that's the best way to fill the cup with water. Maybe creating water out of thin air is better, or perhaps i should place it out on a rainy day? This is a play on what Ben brode said during his stream. Simply put, Ben acknowledged the issue of arena balance, but claimed that he didn't know if tweaking the rarities of certain cards was the best approach to balancing the game. Kripp insists that's the most logical and easy answer and uses his analogy to explain why.

I had a fun game with Doomsayer, where me and the other priest kept stealing doomsayer so when the wipe occured, we would have the new turn 1. It switched sides 5 times xD

Rarities seem to be mainly for arena really. Due to the lower rates at which rares, epics and legends drop, Blizzard can somewhat control how strong cards are in arena. You wouldn't wanted to have everyone be able to get four BGHs in arena, or god forbid, 4 pyroblasts.
