It actually surprises me that Molten works at all in Arena, but if ever there was a class it would work, Rogue is definitely it. But boy that balancing act is such a thin tightrope.

Heres how to fix it. Make it 40 mana and have it do what it actually says it does. Reduces the mana cost for every point of damage that your hero takes that game

Last guy made a terrible mistake by not killing the murloc and activating the steal right away, could have doubled taunt sylvanas to ensure 2 mind controls on either molten, frostwolf and the two card that is in kripp's hand

Molten needs to either be recoded or reworded. If you take 20 damage, then heal for 20, you've taken 20 damage so it should cost 20 less, but does not. In its current state it SHOULD be Molten giant 25 mana 8/8 "actually costs your current life -5 mana"

No, the reason why it's useless is because you need to be too low in order for it to be worth, and because of that there's no coming back after you play it. It worked very well in Warlock because you had the ability to come back after you played it. But as it costs more and they lack good healing cards to go with it, it just isn't viable any more.
