Kris Kristofferson and Lorrie Morgan singing For The Good Times. This performance is from a 1990s (I believe 1994) American Music Shop telecast which aired on The Nashville Network. It was filmed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville Tennessee.

I have so much respect for Kris Kristofferson and the music/songs he has giving us all these years. But when I see or hear Lorrie Morgan, I suddenly feel like I've eaten large quantities of chocolate...... so much talent and beauty. She is timeless.

I welcome any performance from Kris that I have never seen before. Thank you so much poster. He is so worth the time and effort to preserve. That talent should never be allowed to be forgotten. Kris and Lorrie do this song Justice. But what can you expect, Kris wrote it. Someone ask Kris if he minded Janis Joplin singing his song, "Bobby McGee?" Kris said, no he didn't care who sang it, he still got the money. True words heard from Kris himself.

Nobody can sìng Kris's songs the way he does. IF you listen to many of g hem you can hear how he deliberately doesn't go for the obvious note. wish others wh sing his songs paid closer attention. Kris was on original and wrote thoughtful songs. The music and lyrics were hauntingly lively.

Do you have the rest of this show? I think Lorrie also sang "War Paint," and Kenny Aronoff's drumming on that was phenomenal. I would really love to see that again. Thank you for what you have already given us. It was such a great show.

No, he does not have the best voice. But no one can do his music justice like he does. And with Kris it is the whole package. His entertainment valve, whether writing, singing or acting, has always been seriously underrated. Not to mention his looks. Anyone who didn't find themselves getting lost in those eyes and that smile, had no idea what they were missing.
