Thru the years I've been so lucky to see him live and with the Highway men...It saddens me see him aging. But happy for him to keep going, Kris truly loved and will keep following his dreams. He is so beloved by his followers and I think that keeps him still out doing concerts. He is a going to keep entertaining us forever. XOXO

Saw him down in cork in ireland on the 25th of june, got a record of his signed by all the band members, as kris was walking off stage he put up his thumb, never going to forget it, great experience

Hey ... I went and saw Kris on 4/18/19. I even meet him back stage and shook his hand. I reminded him that we had once met at Johnny Cash's house. And he said, "I don't even remember Johnny." We laughed and when he asked if I wanted a picture with him, I said no. It was just him, me, and his wife. It was quiet and it was wonderful. It's hard to explain, but he seemed lonely.

Andrew Joyce I can only imagine how ‘wonderful’ it must be just to be near him. I’m glad he can laugh about his fading memory but sad about the loneliness it might cause him.

Ich war beim Konzert in Leipzig dabei, bin extra vom Saarland angereist. Die Atmosphäre der Leipziger Parkbühne ist einzigartig. Familiär! Und das Konzert selbst war für KK-Fans fantastisch. Kris's Stimme ist zwar etwas "dünner" geworden, doch das darf sie im Alter von 83 auch sein. Als Merle Haggard-Fan hab ich mich gefreut, das Kris zusammen mit den Strangers auch einige dessen Songs gespielt hat. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Abend, denn auch das Wetter hat Geburtstagsgrüße gesendet. Happy 83th !!

I'm a Kristofferson fan, but Kris is looking about 20 years older than he is. Ironically, he resembles the pictures of Abraham Lincoln you see from the later part of his administration. (Kris played Lincoln once). I had some hope when I read that what was originally diagnosed as dementia was actually Lyme Disease, but this performance (and someone's comment that Kris said he didn't remember Johnny Cash) brings home the reality that Kris is slipping away from us.

I hope he is not! I also recognized that Scott would take him to and back from the stage, but I hope that's just a way to have Kris leave the stage early and that he would be able to find his way on his own if he was to do so. He was really enjoying the concert and he was singing fine and more harmonies to Merle's songs than the last time I saw them.

LOL I can't stop but singing along mostly harmony 😀 Fortunately the micro is in front of the cam so I'm not too loud. Next to me sat a man about as old as Kris and he sang along to some songs loudly too, so that was good 😉
