Dru did take some bad shots throughout the game last night!! And his defense wasn’t elite!! This time of the season guys need to take there roles more serious. I think that’s what separated Smart he knew his role on this team and what was asked of him. If drew is gonna play like that we might as well let Pritchard get those minutes

@@jsintral KP doesn’t really know his worth cause if he did he maximize his length though. He should be backing down more closer to the paint and stop shooting turnarounds from the free throw line. And needs to stay down on the pump fakes on Bam and trust his length. I like the double big lineup against the heat cause honestly I don’t think they can shoot like that for 7 games and they can’t defend it

This game was lost the second time the Heat dove through KP's knees, and knocked him over, and the C's did nothing to retaliate. Miami ended up knocking him over four times, three of those they hit him at the knees or lower - and the only one that got the call was when Herro wiped him out bringing the ball up; which was another open attempt to injure him. Bam dove through KP's legs from behind inside the first two minutes. If you've got a finesse big, with a long history of injuries, and you dont fight to protect him? Miami was plainly going at KP, rough, from the opening tip, and no one backed him up. No one put the shoulder into anyone on Miami. KP is plenty tough when it comes to playing basketball - that is not what the Heat were doing, last night. And the ONLY way to get that to stop, bc the refs do not call fouls on the Heat, and have not for years and years, bc it's their 'style', is to hit them back. Marcus would have been fighting Bam after that first low dive. The C's are SO much bigger than the Heat, but they wont play that way, and it cost them an easy home game. I hope Kornet is back on Saturday, he's not afraid to put a hip into guys, or follow a block all the way through.

@@teehoops6819 Clearly you don't have any idea. It's not MMA or boxing where you can put 30 lbs and be fine. This sport requires, you know - jumping n stuff. This is where injuries happen, especially when you are 7`4. And then people will say - HE PUT ON TOO MUCH WEIGHT , HE IS INJURED AGAIN! I KNOW THIS WOULD HAPPEN. Tatum put muscles on and his game also was changed and people blamed the weight gain. People just put their negativity on everything they see. They weren't saying this all season long when he was putting 20 PTS on a daily basis.

JT had a triple double game 1 and JB crushed it in game 2. It's really only KP that deserves criticism, if he has even a decent game the Celtics are up 2-0 despite Miami having literally the best shooting night in franchise history

@@bigrig9702 Fumbled the end? Ummm, no. They never lead again from before the 7 minute mark of the 3rd quarter. That's not fumbling the end. They were also out rebounded, although only by 1. And, they missed 6 FT's, which is typical as they haven't been consistently good all year at FT's. Add that all up with the lack of perimeter defense that lets a team shoot record numbers, and you won't win many playoff games.

@@bigrig9702 They were never locked in defensively the whole game, as shown by the Heat's shooting percentages. Wide open shots all game. They didn't fumble anything, they blew a chance to go up 2-0 in the series after losing only 4 times at home all season. They were simply out played and out coached.

He had one bad game and missed at least 3-4 bunnies. He makes those and the Celtics take away 2 three pointers and the Celtics win. The margin was for error for Miami is soo small given the talent disparity. They may do it one more time but that’s it. Talent will prevail in this series

Seriously. I been a celts fan for 40 years. I like this team least out of all of our previous teams that were championship contenders. This team loses in the same fashion every time they lose. The can’t handle a close game. We don’t have a consistent closer that can get those clutch shots down the stretch. Brad Steven’s is just passing money into the wind. If we get bounced in the first round I’m not watching until Brad Stevens and Joe Mazzulla get their walking papers and they trade Jayson Tatum. Tatum is a good number two player but he’s proven over the last seven seasons that he is not the guy to lead this team. I seriously think Jaylen Brown is the better player. Only gripe I have with him is he is an awful free throw shooter. Which sucks cuz he is our in the paint guy who gets fouled the most.

1 bad game... He will bounce back. You will see. Need to be more aggresive, using body and strenght. Celtics need energy guy, who play a little bit of dirty game. I think Springer could do that or Tillman. More ball movement, speed, fastbreaks and everything gonna be alright.

Enough with the drop coverage on D it just frees up the pick and pop. Get lower against Bam in the box and keep more rebounds in play with tap backs. Be an overwhelming presence out there.

We struggled in the third, so we did nothing? played him in the fourth where we were already playing bad and got surprised when we lost. cmon it aint rocket science. Yet Mazzulla 🤡 let Payton Pritchard play 20 minutes. In that time he didn’t get one bucket. He didn’t even make one shot. He had one rebound and 2 assists. He was utterly useless. Hauser should have been on the floor more. Derrick white did little to nothing. Tatum played good the first three quarters and they just got lost in the sauce in the fourth. If the Celtics don’t have a commanding lead in the fourth and/or the three ball isn’t falling they simply can’t win. They are a one trick pony that lives and dies by the three. Jaylen Brown is the only player on this team with heart. This Celtics team will never win a chip with Mazzulla as coach and Tatum as the team leader. Tatum is good but not great. He and JB don’t compliment each other and are not a great duo. I’m not certain they make the ECF. They may not make it past the first round. If that occurs Mazzulla better get fired and Brad Steven’s needs to seriously consider trading Jayson Tatum and a first round pick to get a super star in their prime or someone more resilient that can be a better fit.

as a team, this was as fluke shooting as it gets. the heat broke a record that 2016 GSW set. the heat ain't scoring 3s at 53% again this series. Herro, and one other unknown, maybe ... but ain't no way this heat team is better than peak GSW, or better than the Cs. we played into their game plan... hunting matchups rather than playing with good pace, driving, passing... driving, passing... until a great shot opens up.

I've notice over the last couple months how weak, fragile, and slow Porzingis is. He reminds me of a newborn fawn learning to walk. It really is pitiful to watch. If he's not scoring, he's literally of no value when he's on the floor.
