They have really good taste! Tori, Lost Highway, Sleater-Kinney, CSH, Kurt Vile... Makes me love Kristin even more. I don’t really know him other than his appearance in Maria Bamford’s show but he seems cool

As if I couldn't love Kristen any more than I already do, she reveals her love for Tori Amos. If you haven't listened to Tori Amos before, take her advice and get on it. My three favorite albums of hers are Little Earthquakes, From The Choirgirl Hotel, and To Venus and Back.

Really like the Hey Jupiter Dakota version (sounds very Trent Reznor), Sparks, Bliss and Silent All These Years. All of her albums from the 90's were great though didn't hear anything after To Venus And Back.

Yes! I've read the same book by Carrie Brownstein. I'd highly recommend it. Not as good as Kim Gordon's memoir Girl In A Band, though.

Only by a few months though. They were both 2001. The BBC mockumentary show *Stella Street* predated both by four years. And to get really pedantic, _The Comic Strip Presents...Bad News_ was the first mock-rock-doc, predating _This Is Spinal Tap_.
