How to Paint Watercolor Peonies Three Ways

Hi Friends.
Painting watercolor shouldn't be about rules but about finding JOY and using your precious free time to elevate your life. I'm here to push fears aside, avoid complicated tools and inspire free spirited, mood shifting watercolor experiences in short bursts of time.
Peonies are a long time favorite of mine and in this video I'm looking at 3 specific ways to paint them joyfully!
1. Loose with pencil
2. Bold brushstrokes
3. Sketching with watercolor

I want to thank you for giving me inspiration to watercolor again !! I’ve always painted with acrylic’s and I started watching you after I got home from exploratory surgery last Monday. I notice that you have a lot of white space. Is there such a thing as too much or too little white spaces.?I love you videos.

Yes definitely when your working towards a balanced composition. This project was just about the bloom…had I been developing a full composition I would have been thinking about the white space remaining and ways to make them engaging :)
