For anyone entering the comment section before watching the videos, if you want to make digital art pieces, use krita, if you want to make a map or graphic design that you can zoom in on to add further details regardless of the size of the canvas, use inkscape. For anyone that is just interested in digital art, have them both and compare them on your own for individual uses.

Why even compare them, Krita is a raster program, while Inkscape is a vector program. You can make vector layers in Krita, but they are fairly limited. Use Inkscape for all your vector needs and add svgs as a vector layer in Krita if needed.

So why you compare two different systems? Compare inkscape with Corel Draw or Illustrator and Kruta with Gimp or Photoshop. Do you compare a submarine with a metro?

Great content!😃 Krita does have Vector layers though. It probably doesn't quite compare to Inkscape for Vector options, but it does seem to be upping it's game in the Vector arena. Thnx Allot👊

Inkscape has an excellent tracing feature.

These are two entirely different programs, so I don’t think these should be compared side by side. Krita is a drawing and painting program whereas Inkscape is a graphics program. However I imagine you can do some similar things with each.

God no. Blender is 3D and these two are 2D - they also have better UI and workflow. I sculpt and Blender seems to be years behind easier to use tablet sculpting Apps - just try the web demo of Nomad Sculpt and compare that to Blender's sculpting. Nomad is written and maintained by one guy whereas Blender has a huge team and has had Mega Grants from Epic.

I use krita good at drawing and inkscape is cool but krita can di animation it good at it so i pick krita but inkscape is good at editing photo or drawing

Why are you advertising Sara Tepes??? Who is she? Your friend? Sara Tepes doesn't use Krita, but Photoshop and Chip Studio Paint, which is Krita's main competitor! Why don't you advertise David Revoy he is the biggest Krita promoter and on a much bigger pro level!
