Mocap is a pain in the rear to work with. I find it easier to just animate by hand.

Im a beta tester for Infinite painter I've know its developer since it came out on Android. I own Procreate but the tools are so easy, fun, and constantly updating because he listens to us that I see no real need for Procreate. Text is my only issue and thats no big deal. So infinity is my go to and my fans love it's end result.

GIMP is more focused on photo editing and manipulation but on the other hand, Krita is focused on digital drawing, painting and scratching so choose accordingly and... Those who are saying it have custom brushes, etc don't mean it is focused on painting, you can use it for painting like a Gogar but I think GIMP main purpose for that is to use it for photo manipulation and editing too rather than painting with it... And the opposite goes with Krita! 👍

What I wanna know is... why there's no character creator program or addon for any of these 2D animation programs? It doesn't make any sense why any artist would manually create characters in Photoshop over and over again. Something like Reallusion's Character Creator but for 2D would be awesome. Let the software generate a 360 rig with all the limbs, fists, facial expressions, etc.

I like buying a software program. Suscriptions tend to go up in monthly prices. Not a fan. I am looking at Clip SP to expand my tools and experience. New to digital art. Did nothing outside of Procreate yet. Hoping to go to Digital Illustration or Animation in future. Getting a jump on learning some software programs as I am a late learner. LOL.
