They call Austin the father of Tejas. He wasn’t even born in Tejas. The Tejanos were in Tejas long before he or any Anglos.just like the Californios were in Alta California long before the greedy Anglo invaders who wanted gold during the gold rush. Viva Juan cortina y viva Joaquín Murrieta!!!

“Anglo Invaders.” Then what were the Spaniards, visitors?

@@Mer1912 I’m NOT talking about the Spaniards! I’m talking about some far, far worse invaders that committed genocide big time!

Its best if they keep it hushed up because it would all lead into you being indigenous and coming from the same blood as the native Americans . I dont think they killed all the Indians when they arrived here. They just relabeled them as illegals and Mexicans and the numbers of Indians dissapeared .

The Legislature established a committee last year to “promote patriotic education.” One of its pamphlets reveal an effort to sanitize the state’s long struggle with racial issues.centuries of slavery in Texas and minimize its horrors. calling it “gossip” "The 1836 Project" check it out..

Love to hear this because my grandparents were born in San Antonio Tx in the late 1800s. Yet they were treated like they were the foreigners. So wrong. Keep up the good work

The whites at the time did the extra work to try to keep it that way unfortunately. Now the few like that are hiding

We have so much in California, Arizona , New Mexico , Texas, and Florida that the United States hasn't documented. From the first settlers there 1700' , and 1500's in Florida

Its a little more than that. You are indigenous to the continent meaning you have the same or part of the blood line of the Indians
