Excellent review Guy, more so for telling us about your book 'Populus' - I just ordered it.

Useful review. Thank you, Guy. And thanks for the book recommendations. I always like book recommendations, especially as there is so much published on every conceivable thing. It's difficult for the lay person to know what is a reliable guide.

Stellar review. I just ordered both books, I always appreciate a good book review, especially from an author whom I have read and enjoyed immensely!! Praetorian was the first title of yours I found. I was doing a bit more digging on the subject of the Guard, and I immediately recognized your name from Time Team when I saw your book. I loved your work with that brilliant lot, and I always appreciated that you were often skeptical of some of the more fanciful theories some would favor. That being said, I always remember being excited when you also were keen on something, as I took it more seriously when you took note of some particular item or structure. After reading Praetorian, I immediately ordered Gladius, and both of those are standby books in my favorites of Roman history. As I loved those two so much, I pre-ordered Populus, and I just picked up Domina, as well as a few of your other previous works. Thank you again for your brilliant work, and also for the brilliant recommendations for further reading!! I literally only came across Allison Weir as you recommended a title of hers in a previous video on your channel, and I have been hooked, she's fantastic!! Cheers from Phoenix, Arizona!! If you ever decide to do a book signing while on a visit to the southwest US, I would be there for certain!!

Any plans on releasing Populus in audiobook format?
