Hooligan is great, I hope they have a visual overhaul though. I've always wanted to build a floating city in Jool, with jet/blimp hybrid shuttles (slowly float to dock).

Mazil tov on your 200th mod spotlight. And I cannot tell you how happy I am that this wonderful mod has been resurrected from the grave. Since I joined KSP at 1.0.4, this was always my favorite mod. I'm not really good at making normal airplanes; I can do smaller planes basically alright, but once I try to build anything up to Mk.3, or even worse the Mk.4 superplane mod, the darn things just will not fly for me. With this mod though, I became something of a master airship builder, able to construct magnificent gentle giants of the skies. So I was quite upset when 1.0.5 came along and I found that this mod was essentially dead. So imagine my glee when I woke up this morning to find you spotlighting its glorious revival. And having read the forum post, it seems that this is only the beginning. JewelShisen is already making noises about a new set of modular airship parts, including proper aerodynamic nose pieces and envelop parts with attachment nodes to make airship construction even easier and more versatile. Presumably, these may be based on SpannerMonkey's test/experimental parts, which have a much more classic zeppelin look to them. At least I dearly hope so.

I'm so lad this was picked up again. I'm sure I can find a cargo slot on my Artemis missions for a mining airship

Perhaps this could be used to create a small runway which can carry a spaceplane or other craft into high orbit at a fraction of the fuel. That seems like an awesome idea,or better yet just use the airship balloons mounted on the craft before deflating them in orbit.

I've been loving this series, you have a really good way of spotlighting all the different mods for the game. Also, for your next spotlight, there's a new spaceplane mod. Mk3 Expansion, I think by the same author as Mk2 expansion. It adds a LOT of great parts for Mk3 spaceplanes (I've been messing around with it a little already and it's incredibly well-made) as well as a few Mk3 parts for non-spaceplane-y applications like base building and interplanetary vessels.

Congrats on your 200th mod review. Probably seen over half now as I only found KSP and shortly after your channel just as 1.05 launched. Keep up the awesome reviews. PS, glad to see Hooligan Labs resurrected as that has been a mod I have wanted to see come back ever since watching a few older videos.

Congrats on the 200th spotlight vid! Here's some mods I recommend you should do spotlights on: Coatl Aerospace adds more science parts and realistic probe cores, Bluedog Design Bureau adds tons of new historical stock alike rocket parts, but also some science parts as well, and last but not least FASA which offers up realistic historical American parts from Mercury to Apollo (be warned Coatl and Bluedog are considered WIP but they work quite well in KSP 1.1)

Don't knock the K101... That's the FIRST one we had. Lots of memories of laser-armed blimps running around the KSC with that one...

Years ago, I got to play with this mod. It was very challenging to make my blimp-based ideas to work well. I wish I had had a center of drag indicator, and one for buoyancy that could change based on a (hypothetical) menu in the garage for controlling the inflation of the envelopes. Them envelopes are great for in-atmosphere lift, but less than great for air drag. It was especially fun to try wacky combinations of design philosophies. Like combining an airplane with a zeppelin, or a land vehicle with a balloon.

lol, the K101 is the only one that actually looks like an actual airship body. I mean... I like the mod, but all of the others have such extravagant/silly appearances to them. It's hard to build a tough combat airship guns and all when your lifting envelope looks like a giant lilypad. Or a lotus flower.
