She was my classmate. I was in the same room with her when the initial alarm went off. I'm so happy to see her safe along with my friends among many other students in the UNLV community.

The officers did an amazing job of emotional intelligence. The civilians' video shows that the officers were present, aware, and had the ability to assess what was a threat and what was not. Not being able to do all three at the same time seems to be equivalent to not being able to do the job effectively and efficiently. I would love to hear from these officers on the topic of this.

OMG I just want to hug you right now... after watching that video. It seems like you were more traumatized by the police than by the event. Not that I'm blaming the police for anything, because they have to do what they have to do... but OMG the sheer terror in your voice and breathing. I just can't even.

seeing the video filmed from her perspective put me into her shoes completely and i could feel the fear and panic. it's TRAGIC that in our country this can happen to anyone at any moment. i'm always so so so sad to hear about these things but when will the people in power care enough about human lives more than they care about the NRA?
