Even though it looks slow, it's pretty crazy how fast you can dig compared to digging by hand, even for such a small backhoe. The backhoe does the work of 5-10 guys easy, maybe more. I run machines between 50,000 and 120,000 pounds for a living and I swear a big one does as much work as hundreds of guys on shovels. Even after a decade and a half of doing this, when I stop and think about it my mind is still blown.

I have the smaller BH on my BX23S. I've used it a fair amount for digging up stumps and one lengthy french drain. That thing is amazing. Appears that you really know what youre doing with yours.

Loved the video! I have that same setup. B2601 with backhoe. They are awesome and very capable machines. It’s worst enemy, like any tractor, are hills!

You were so right Kevin, a heck of a lot quicker than a shovel, and so much easier on the back. Looks like you and Julie may have gotten a little mud on your shoes, LOL. Thanks for the video, be well my friends.

Great video, thank goodness you have a good piece of equipment to help you. I just dug a 50 ft trench 24 in deep by hand for water and electric. Hard work took me a full week. Never again. Love your cat 😊

I hope that pipe really works Kevin but it may be that you'll need a gravel and membrane fix at some time. It will be good to see how the pipe on its own works. The Kubota is a real God-send for you.

How do you mow that steep side-hill? Are you going to leave it as an open ditch or eventually turn it into a French drain?
@Robinson-Homestead
@Robinson-Homestead 10 ай бұрын
I will leave the ditch open. I use a weed eater on the bank.

That thing is a godsend Kevin, that would have took you 2 weeks with a shovel, why didn`t you put some large stones in front of the intake, so it cant clog with rocks and mud, just curious. Gotta love that tractor, that almost looked fun, Julie`s gonna kill you, those were her good sandals, teehee, keep em coming buddy, we love watching.
