Kubota L3200, What it can really do!!!
This is a 32HP Kubota L3200 with a LA524 FEL. I have a Land Pride Quick attach, with a County line 5’ box blade on the back. This combination of tractor and attachments makes moving dirt a breeze. This dirt moving project was about 100 Hrs of seat time, It was spaced out over about a year because of the weather. The dust at the beginning of the project was unbearable. And then as you know if you own a tractor moving dirt in the rain has its own set of challenges. Over all i moved over 1200 Yards of dirt, having a drag path made using the box blade a lot easier. This goes to show that a smaller tractor with a little bit of extra time can really get some dirt moved.

Tractors are fun, I bought a New Holland TC30 with a loader to replace my 1947 Ford 2N. But I found that old lite weight antique can still do a lot of work in the woods when I don't need loader or four wheel drive. Moved a lot of dirt with that old chugger and my box blade. Best $1500 I ever spent. Thankful for newer tractor today moving 1.5 feet of fresh snow.

A job well done! In addition to the beautiful, extended yard, you created a fire break in the process. Smart thinking. You told a great story! Your video production values together with your narration provided the foundation for your story in a compelling and interesting manner. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into telling this story. Best wish, Roy Lewis Buffalo, NY

You did a really nice job. If I may give you a tip, while you back drag with the front bucket do not use it all the way curled this can cause damage to the hydraulic ram / cylinders there is a KZfaq video on this. Many years ago when I was learning I made this mistake and cost myself a few hundred dollars to replace the cylinder. The further out it is extended the easier it can break. There are other ways to accomplish the same out come without putting so much stress on the front cylinders. Please don't take this negatively I'm only trying to give out some pointers like I said great job. Keep on operating.

Must be nice to have actual dirt with some stones - that is easy to move. Try this in the Northeast with all the rock and boulder and you'll need more than just an FEL and box blade. I have been doing this on our homestead and ended up having to upsize (55hp) the tractor, and add a frame mounted backhoe to the mix. But YEAH! Ground work is fun. Great video. Thanks.

i watch a LOT of videos on youtube on all kinds of stuff. your video is one of the best ones i've ever seen here. i especially liked the "fast-forward" format as it was easy to see the progress of your excavation as the video progressed. and - i've run a number of construction machines and you clearly have some operator skills. i've had earth-moving bids on various projects and the tasks you've preformed on this video would probably constitute at least a $15-20k project if "hired out." i'm wondering how a large CTL would have compared in time required for your Kubota. i know how long its takes to move dirt. i'm guessing you spent at least 40 hours on this job. an enjoyable video and kudos to you for your skills.

I’ve got an L3200 and love it. It surprises people (including the dealer) what can be done with it. My favorite attachment is the grapple. I wish I would have gotten the 3rd function factory installed rather than the dealer, the factory install is much cleaner. I did break one of the loaders lower pins but it broke due to operator error (asked a little too much of the loader). Nice job on yard and video!

its better to break up the dirt with the ripper shanks then use the box blade to spread /transport material also to combat the humps you have to drive in at different angles so youre not digging in the same low spot

Hills are pretty dangerous on a narrow L3200. I had beet juice put in the rear tires and I have a 3 inch spacer on each back tire to make it 6 inches wider but not wider than the front bucket. The weight and extra width make a world of difference when it comes to working on hills. I always wear the seat belt just in case.
