Working on the Kubota T1600 diesel ride on mower. It can't mow without bogging down and throwing black smoke out. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL. IT IS FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY.

I can't begin to describe my level of satisfaction here. I have an obsession with old mowers and cars. Seeing them brought back to life scratches that itch. I recently restored an 88 Dodge Ram D100 with my brother. One of my favorite experiences in this life. Rumble young man, rumble.

I always find these restoration videos so satisfying to watch. I would love to try do one of them myself but I don't have much engine or restoration experience

He really did inspire me! And i didn't have any experience. But it isn't that hard that you think it is. I fully restored a "Stiga Park Prestige 4WD from 2008" with hella rust, and now it looks brand spanking new!

Great video. It’s awesome you can fix your own mower. I’m surprised they haven’t put a locked down pc on the new mowers so have to take to dealer for any repairs.

Have to say, I own it's larger brother the G1800. Love the power, how it's built and the lever activated belt. Much better than electric pto clutches imo. Also the deflector sits lower it seems or was tilted down further. They are great machines though!

I have a weird queetion. I just bouht a new mower with kawasaki engine. The dont tell you to do a oil change after first couple hours like some do amd was told that kawasaki runs nreak in oil at factory since every engine is dyno tested then drained for delivery. Should i do the break in oilmchange at 5-10 hours like they used to recommend still?
@TheWolverine-rm2kr3 жыл бұрын
I would change it at about 10-15 hours just to be safe

If you live near any city or large town there is probably a kubota dealer
@jimb032 Жыл бұрын
no it's not - I own G1800 and ZD221. Kubota sells them all the time. Yes, they are not near as common, but certainly far from rare.
@samuelfellows69233 жыл бұрын
even the gearbox has its own fan - it gets that hot to need one
@jimb032 Жыл бұрын
it does not work that way- it draws fresh air FROM the air from between the operators legs INTO the engine compartment. This is why the screen is under the steering column and the screen you pull out is between the radiator and cowl
