◆Tokyo-Kyushu Ferry runs between Shinmoji Port in Fukuoka and Yokosuka Port in Kanagawa.
The Shinmoji-Yokosuka route was just opened on the 1st of July, 2021 and
it's been 22 years since a new ferry route was built in Japan.

Another great ferry video. Now I am envious of Japanese ferries, as well as the Shinkansen :) The "Chicago Style Pizza" however, was neither Chicago Style - nor a pizza ! It looked like it was made from some king of Tortilla wrap.

I am from Chicago, and…that’s not quite a Chicago style pizza. 😂 it looks similar to our deep dish pizza in a lot of ways, though- and it did look tasty! Thanks so much for your videos, I find them so interesting!

Thank you. I feel like I get to go on a little adventure with you in your videos. I live on the US east coast, in Maryland, and we don't really have ferries like these. The nearest ferry to me is just an hour and a half ferry from Cape May, New Jersey to Lewes, Delaware. That is more just like a shuttle across the Delaware Bay than a voyage like you take on this one.

I know I've said this before probably, but it does bear repeating, I really look forward to these. We holidayed in Japan with our teenage son some years ago, mostly in Osaka- and it was brilliant. Osaka people have a great sense of humour. They laughed at my chopstick technique, but in a nice way. They really love their food as well. :)

Thanks for another great video Kuga! The only fish allowed on or in a Chicago-style pizza are anchovies, and most folks don't order this. Sausage, pepperoni or bacon are preferred. What you ordered looked good though. What is in a name?

Well, much like Solo Travel Japan and Solo Solo Travel, you ate what is a weird Taco Bowl(tortilla) type thing...not a Chicago style pizza. Maybe Japan's style of Chicago Style pizza, still looked good though. I think that shipping line has the same menu's for all its ships. Anyways, someday I hope for a mash up of your channel and the other 2 on the same trip at the same time just cause it would be funny. Thank you for sharing your travels with us all!

I was stationed in Yokosuka in the U.S. Navy in the 1960's when I was young, drunk and stupid all at once. Later I regretted how much I failed to see and learn while I was there. Thank you for these videos, which have provided me with a lot of lovely views of this wonderful country.

I lived near Chicago for 17 years. That is not Chicago style pizza, but it does look tasty! In America, most pizza is fairly thin (1-3 centimeters) with tomato sauce under a layer of cheese and other toppings. Chicago style pizza is different because it is very thick. There’s a large, chewy crust, and the tomato sauce is on top of the cheese. It’s a very heavy and filling meal.
