In this episode were talking about Kugoo also known as KugooKirin or their latest name KuKirin. All three are basically same thing and same brand and same build quality. I would avoid it for the moment but maybe I change my mind in the future. I'll let you know if I do.

I own a Kugoo G3 pro for about 8 months now and absolutely love it! i have just over 1,400 km on it and have ridden it quite a few times in the rain and so far havent had to do any maintenance besides changing the tires but nothing broke down, 0 flats, and no rust. every time the scoot has gotten wet i just give it a quick wipe and thats it . that scooter would not have looked like that if it was looked after.

My frined has it and so far he never had any problems expect puncture. I might make video about it soon.

I had M4 Pro and used it for a long time and had almost 2000kms on it. Definitely wasn’t a maintenance free scooter BUT at the same time after doing a few mods, it got me through the winter. Only thing the bugged me was quality of this stock tyres, definitely changing them is a must. Good video!

Unfortunately loads of them dont survive full year. I was pushing back making this video a long time and also regularly asking prople how old is eScooter when I would go out for repair. In near future Kugoo might start doing better quality eScooter. Theyre releasing loads of eScooters so I would love if I could recommend them and feature them regularly here.

i have m4pro , more than 1 year and it has 5500km on it ! no rust and no battry problem !

Fair play. That's the first one I heard of that managed to last longer than a year. I'll assume you're not in a rainy area and take really good care of it.

The bogist M5 pro, is also a wiring 'noodle ball', also it has a controller with high brake level (not so common, but you can re-wire most controllers to fix that) and it's own firmware, a tf-100 controller won't work, even if wired correctly (everything works - no error messages - except the accelerator!) only it's own tf-500 controller seems to work (both controllers have identical circuit boards, but obviously different firmware).

Yeah, and average used doesnt know how to do repairs themselves and shouldnt even be performing any repairs. Part of price is always buying experience and aftersale support that lacks with most chinesse brands.

@@escootIreland If the average user had attempted to plug in another controller without modifying it first (even though most of the connections were of the same type and for the same function, they would have fried the original dashboard/accelerator, that is how bad it could have been. It was the first escooter that I have repaired, and I wasn't really impressed by the care taken with the wiring, considering the scooters are £400 plus. The incompatibility of modules between brands is just another sore point if you are looking to keep all of the original look and function. On the plus side, I have learned what to expect if I ever have a request to repair another (I would probably be hesitant to touch it tbh). I expect they are put together with the cheapest parts going at the time, and the parts have quite a limited lifespan and availability.

You are absolutely correct. I got the m4 and it's the worst mistake I made. From one problem to the other. The tyres are garbage and constantly loose air. Lacks durability.

Its really not worth the money. There is reason why for good eScooter that goes over 30kmps you have to spend over €1000. Buy cheap - buy twice.

Im thinking of buying it for school but which do you recommend? NIU kqi2 pro eu or kukrin m4? If these two aren't good,then there is a good scooter in a physical store, that is ninebot f40

Well Kugoo I would avoid until they improve their quality, Ninebot is now making preety reliable eScooters and NIU seems preety well made too. Only issue with them could be parts supply. Id say it would be easier to sour e parts for Ninebot but be aware of copy parts. Its not easy to sour e genuine Ninebot parts. Even I fell in copy parts trap. @@escootIreland ok ,so the ninebot F40 and niu kqi2 pro eu both have 40 km of range and 25 km, and I don't know which one to pick,so I have to pick the one with more real world range and buil quality, which one do you think it's Bett?

@HGF8_Islam looking at controller design of F40 and NIU I would go for F40 because motor phase terminals look better designed on Ninebot where NIU is using motor phase connectors like on first generwtion of Ninebot Max G30 and they used to melt. At stock speeds and on flat overheating controller shouldnt be an issue anyways. A bit of a down side on Ninebot F40 would be tyres with inner tube compared to NIU tubeless tyres that are more resistant to punctures and not that much vulnerable when it comes to riding on too low tyre pressure but if you check your tyre pressure regularly on Ninebot you shoumdnt have problems at all and replcing inner tube shouldnt be too hard to do it yourself but replacing tubeless tyres you wont be able to do without proper tools and some experience.

@@escootIreland by the research I made I think that the niu kqi2 has better range and longevity,the only worry is the warranty service bc the F40 get damaged i can easily give it to the store to fix but the NIU is complicated, and can I do anything to prevent the motor melting? (I was thinking of aovo Esmax ,but everyone told me it's bad)

I own M4 Pro. I never ride it in the rain or when it is below 0 Celsius. every scooter suffer in the rain. this thing is powerful and batery holds long. It is just too heavy and fifficult to fold so I never fold it. I have also seat but the seat sometimes untides and fall down. I will rebuilt it somehowe.

Actually not. Its our customers eScooter and its in really good customer treated it quite ok.

Avoid rain and wipe it down if you get caught by rain. Screws, bolts and nuts are out of bad quality same as brakes unfortunately. And stock tyres will get punctures so best is to replace them with better ones.

Yeah, there is hardly any kugoo that survives much more than 1 year mark. Max 2 years comparing to Xiaomi or Ninebot max that easily work 3 to 5 years without any issues.

Unfortunately theyre both really bad and I cant recommend none of them. Only a bit of advantage is that parts for M4 pro are more avaliable and cheaper.

U need to park the scooter in a bike shed or indoor otherwise it will get rusty easily

I had kugoo g2 pro. It really sucks every week i had a new problem. The stem became loose the tires were getting punctured constantly and the acceleration was just totally lacking. After a year now with this scooter it is entirely falling apart. Dont trust Kugoo!

Xiaomi, Navee and Ninebot are also budget eScooters but much better made.

@@pls4sc777 anyone who knows anything about eScooters wont say Xiaomi, Ninebot or Navee are garbage. FYI Xiaomi has smart BMS in all of their eScooters. Youll never see original Xiaomi catching fire.

How about attacking the argument not the person. When I said that they are garbage I wrote exactly what I meant by that. I'm not saying that they are not reliable. I am just saying that they are kids toys compared to the one that's in your video or any similar ones.

I have a similar scooter just not kugo branded. I never ride in the rain, keep it inside. I've done about 1000 km no issues so far. So yeah the scooter in your video was abused, its not a fkn dirtbike so if you treat your stuff like shit it will look like shit

In Ireland its raining a lot so unfortunately loads of time you get caught in the rain. It was used just to commute to work and back home. No stunts or jumps. It wasn't abused. Its just poor quality. Cheap materials used to build.

I think they state that it's not water proof in the manual. So if you use it in the rain it's your own fault. Just don't buy stuff not meant for your weather conditions instead of blaming the build quality.

It's the biggwst china crap. The suspension is not one and the vibrations of the uneven streets are destroying evey part of it. U loose screws that hold the breaks, the electric fails, the rain protector breaks, the stem breaks. I never had a worse scooter than the m4 pro!

I just purchased the kukirin g2 max 800 euro Last week. They seem to be changing the name of the brand. From kuggo to kukirin. I previously had a loco motion pro from loco scooters in Dublin. The g2 Max looks and feels a well built scooter. Plus the drive is very smooth . I'm very happy with the scooter so far But your video has me worried now did I make the right decision to purchase the kukirin G2 max . Would it be possible to do a review of the G2 Max . Or just your thoughts on the subject . I have watched a few of you videos over the last year . And found your advice very useful thanks pal 👍

Thank you for watching my videos and commenting. If I get my habds on one I will make video about it for sure. Me making honest in depth reviews is making it almost impossible to get my hands on eScooters unless I buy them myself. It would be for sure interesting to open one of them.

Any reason you didn't go with M4 Pro? G2 Max seems much heavier and you can't change it to the rubber tyres (I see lots of glass on the roads in Dublin!)
