Tires are one of the.very few things that I don't mind spending more money on. I F'in love new tires.

I had some Kumho Ecsta PA31 a while back, my favorite tires, they outperformed my Continental DWS by a mile. But they were worn out within a year (down to the wires).

I love these updates! They're really gratifying as I own a 2021 and plan to keep it til 2030. Question about your tire sizes: my 3's 18" wheels fit 215/45R18 tires, but you have now had two sets of 225/45R18 tires that seem to fit very well. Do you have a different stock tire size over in the US? Or they're oversized on purpose, do you notice or expect any benefit or harm from the bigger tire? I was shocked when I learned how much winters were going to cost me, since all I could find in stock were Michelins. I'd love to be able to shop around in a more common size.

From what I've gathered, these Kumho tires are Chinese clones of the EU made Michelin Cross Climate 2. The specs are similar to MCC2. I've used the MCC2 during winter driving with 6 inches of snow on an SUV. It's performance was slightly better than the Pirelli scorpion ice that I have on another car. The MCC2s are also mostly quiet on the highway and have excellent wet traction. Specs wise both are very similar. MCC2s are $950 a set and these Kumhos are $750 on discounttire for my car. I don't know where Zack found them so cheap.. Both are rated for 60,000 miles so they should last 5 years for the average American assuming proper alignment and tire rotations. I like saving money but I'm not looking to save $200 buying chinese tires every 3-5 years. As of right now, there are no customer reviews of these tires on any of the tire websites. If any of you are using these specific tires, please review your experiences on tirerack, firestone, belle tire or discount tire websites so that we can all benefit. Is the Kumho Majesty 9 Solus TA91 a good tire? My friend's 2024 Kia Seltos X-Line came with it. However with the Sportage they have Goodyear tires.
