Red Chili 1tbs
Turmeric 1/4tbs
Coriander Powder 1tbs
Cumin Powder 1/2tbs
Tamarind Pulp 2tbs or Milk 1/4cup for creamy masoor
Tarka:
Desi Ghee 1/2cup
Garlic 1cloves sliced
Onion 1/2medium
Tomato 1medium
Coriander 2tbs
Green Chilies 2
Rice:
Short Grain Rice 1kg
Ghee/ Oil 1cup
Salt 2tbs

Thank you so much for these every day recipes. I live on my own and cook by myself. I learned Chicken Karhai, Shashlik, fried rice, Zinger, etc. from your videos. The way you explain is very easy to understand. For example, the way you explained the reason for the thickness of karhai helped me buy the correct karhai in order to cook chicken Karhai the first time. I love daal chawal in this video and may try someday.

I put lots of garlic, green chilies, salt, red chilies powder and crushed, turmeric, milk, cream, and butter in the end when I put sizzling hot garlic tadka right on butter ❤ We are Punjabi and never use onions in masoor daal 😊

I make this dall same way ,but in tarka I use more garlic chopped, cumin seeds and sabut red chilies, no tomatoes.its very tasty. Instead of imli I use lemon juice if u don't have imli. Salad ( kachmoor) and achar also I use and papar .This is my favorite food and everybody likes my dal-chawal .I like your recipes .
