This video is so good. Brings back to mind a lot of the stuff we did at the temple. There are actually a whole load of other applications of this form not shown such as sweeps and other blocks. I found it happened with a lot of the forms. Sometimes we had 3 teachers of the 'Yan' generation different from the 'De' generation and whoever was teaching us we had to try to remember their style.:)Thanks for posting.

Love it. I write all stepps on paper to learn this Shaolin Art. I learned Lian Huan Quan too by an Songshan Student but I see in this video, some moves cannot be correctly from him, so I study this video by myselve too (my Shifu doesn´t know, in front of him, I do "his" Form. I it pretty...dont know)...I love knowing the Moves Name like "white cloeds is over the head" (Xiao Hong Quan) and I hope I find every, EVERY video you have with these "explanaition". I do Kung Fu with my heart, with passion. This is my thing. So I have the feeling to know whats rather crap, and what´s not. If you do this move without the aspect of fighting, it is ALSO okay! Do it for your health. The single moves can be chanched a lttle bit to make it more fluently for not Shaolin Kung Fu To-Dais like me. I gues, in the international school of Songshan is not all gold what seems thats why I expand my kknlowledge where ever I can....so thank you once again

I'm kinda confused around 29:46 (Form 17). In the complete demonstrations he steps to the right, but when he is demonstrating Form 17 he steps to the left. What is your take on this shemmati10yt? Which one do you think is the correct way to do the form?

In many cases the application or the explanation of the moves compromise the renown of the Shaolin Temple. I understand that the techniques need to be reserved to those who have a serious involvement with the Shaolin Kung Fu, but the childish simplicity of the applications makes one think that they should have been omitted as ( to a certain extend ) disgraceful. It would be better for a Kung Fu fan to develop his own applications using his imagination and study of the forms.
