I would say Shifu is stronger than Tai Lung and the furious 5, he never really outright attacks Tai because of his emotional attachments to him. I think he should have already known how to use chi and all that from the start because he was Oogway’s personal student and successor

Idk if the gap is so big but it’s definitely possible for oogway to be stronger than po. It depends on the writers but it’s imposible for us to confirm or deny it. The facts are that we have not seen oogway fight at full strength, I think he could have easily beaten “pre breakout from the spirit realm Kai” but he even says it himself, he was not meant to take down Kai. I think it was just that Oogway wanted Po to get more powerful so he could defend the mortal realm and Oogway just doesn’t want to leave the spirit realm. Now also you can read the description to see all of Oogways achievements, because I didn’t say anything about how strong Oogway was, just how it’s imposible to know who is stronger.

Two things are wrong bro. Firstly, Shen is not that much of a skilled warrior. Secondly, Po can never defeat Tai lung in raw Kung Fu.

So Oogwai, Po and Kai are literally on a god level strength, comparing to the other characters? Seems fair to me, but I still think that Shifu is underestimated - HE trained furious five, HE is oogwai successor as the master of Jade palace, HE trained Po and Tai Lung and first master after oogway that found inner piece and learn chi technique. Just keep in mind that he fought quite well with Kai, who at that moment had powers of all China’a Kung fu masters INCLUDING Oogway.

Master Shifu Is Clearly More Powerful than the Furious five and Tai lung ! Furious five couldn't beat sifu we saw that in the 1st film As for tai lung, sifu always had a special attachment to him, always felt sorry for him which made sifu emotionally weak and hence physically retarted when fighting tai lung.

Master thundering rhino is my favourite character. In my interpretation Lord shen is the Lord of Jin or Qi and master thundering rhino is the imperial governor general appointed by the emperor to suppress Lord Shen's revolt and the regional unrest around gongmen city. I can't agree with how Po got scaled to Tai Lung. Tai is obviously stronger and a much better fighter than Po. He only won because of plot armor. There is no way in Hell that Po, who is far less stronger, not agile and a lot slower and smarter would defeat him. The dude singlehandedly defeated all the prison guard and managed to overcome their traps. He also defeated the furious and when he got serious they couldn't lay a finger on him. He beat Shifu even. It's just plot armor that helped him.

Post Kung Fu Panda 3 Po is actually WAY stronger than Full Power Master Oogway. This can be shown with simple maths. Our starting point will be Kai who has fought both Oogway and Po. And these are divided into Spirit Realm Kai and Mortal Realm Kai. We know that Kai got the chi of all masters before his fight with Po. So that would be: Spirit Realm Kai: His own chi, Oogway's chi and the chi of all the masters in the Spirit Realm Kai from the mortal realm: His own chi, Oogway's chi, the chi of all masters in the spirit realm and the chi of all masters in the mortal realm, including the Furious Five (except Tigress) and Master Shifu. Kai from the Spirit Realm, before he was able to take over Oogway's chi, was able to keep up with Oogway and even defeat him. Some people have pointed out that Oogway intentionally let Kai win because he wanted Po to stop him, which may be true, but that wouldn't change the fact that Kai would still be much stronger with Oogway's Chi than Oogway alone. And you have to remember that Kai himself has fought on par with Oogway before. So here we have a Kai who has his own power, the power of all the masters that have ever existed, the power of Oogway, the power of Shifu and the power of the Furious Five and he still didn't stand the slightest chance against Po with his Dragon Warrior Chi. Po absolutely destroyed him after that. Of course still Oogway has more experience and is wiser but he's wouldn't stand a chance against current Po.
