I own a Kunz, 44", Briggs powered, rough cut mower. After using it for a full season of making and maintaining trails on our wooded property, I can truly say this is an excellent piece of machinery. It is well engineered, ruggedly overbuilt, and powerful. I cut through dense weeds, thick brush, and small trees, it never stalled the motor or slipped a belt. It has always started quickly, and I've had no break downs other than flat tires. We are very happy with our decision to purchase the Kunz.

Finally! A pull-behind with side discharge! A good vid, too..as the last post I saw for a ATV adaptable mower did not even show it while running. I liked the application stretch, too...ATV, ZTR mower, lawn tractor...I guess it would work with a golf cart too. That is the way to present a machine, well done Kunz.

Hi jtommr, Thank you for commenting and providing feedback. We are glad to hear that you like your AcrEase Model MR44B rough cut mower. I'm sorry to hear about your flat tire issues though. Flat tires have been something that we have been trying to eliminate for quite a few years. For most customers, a good brand of tire sealer solves most flat tire issues. For other customers, other flat proofing options are necessary.

I do plan to make a couple of mods to the cutter for this year. I will replace the reversible hitch with one mounted to the center of the frame. With the stock hitch in the center pull position it has a lot of overhang on the right side and is easily hooked on trees. I could cut it off, but I want to retain the offset feature for future use. I also will replace the tires with solid, flat-free type tires. Shredded wood and sharp stumps are very hard on pneumatic tires, punctures were frequent.

For the most part, we have not been satisfied with the majority of different flat proofing options. After quite a few years of testing we have finally decided to release a urethane molded tire which is a cost effective solution to the problem. These particular tires will be able to be pressed on existing rims or purchased as an upgrade on new equipment. Please let us know if you have any other questions or comments. Thank you.
