I'm a doctor, the allergic reaction came from thinking about playing kunze panzer. This is a common symptom.

Kunze is decent, but not OP. I wanted to share my setup because I thought it was interesting that you're using the accuracy mod. I use that identical setup for maps like Prok to be the ultimate sniper, but for most maps, I traded the vents for turbo. If you take a hit to your DPM and concealment with field mods, that's where this tank gets really weird. Siege mode increases your accuracy by 27.5%, but reduces your engine power by about 30%. That's where the mobility reduction comes from, but also where the turbo and reverse speed come in. Using turbo/rammer/accuracy in this setup limits your DPM to 3k, but in siege mode, you have an amazing .24 dispersion. The turbo helps limit the mobility reduction in siege mode, so instead of having 420 hp and about 30 forward / 17 reverse, you have about 480 hp and about 36 forward / 21 reverse. The reason I use this setup is because Kunze has no armor at all. It's more like a light tank, so I want to get in and out of positions faster. I also want to be able to use the siege mode and not be a sitting duck while in it. These gimmicks aren't very meta and Kunze requires a great crew to make this build work, but .24 dispersion, 3k DPM, 450m view range, -15 gun depression with 36/21 is actually somewhat good if you're on top of a hill and peeking a lot. I also use a setup where I use turbo, rammer and vstab. That's more for maps where accuracy is less important. Very weird tank, but I like it. For context: I've only played it 31 times, but I'm averaging 2.6k dmg, 600 assist, and 55% WR with these setups.

i like the cammo value and mobility of this tank. i play it more like a light rather than a medium. not at your level, but i enjoy having tanks driving by me and not seeing it. always great to go to your index page for suggestions on equipping/crewing tanks

The kunze is my favorite tank, and the only tier XI 3-mark I've managed so far. I bought it anticipating it as a sort of upgrade from the udes 14 5, which is my only tier VIII 3-mark. There's just something about the way these tanks play that really works well for me, I don't know.

I don't know how we have two first comments but other than that I love the Kunze Panzer, although I am not good at it.. also did not know this thing had a siege mode until like 30 battles with it. Edit: I have never heard Skill swear in a KZfaq video before, must have been a stressful three mark lol

I really enjoy that tank. Best thing is don't use the siege mode. I hit targets at range most the time no problem so don't need the negatives from siege mode, just for a tiny bit of accuracy.

Skill, you tell us how awful the tank is and then we see 3 battles with awesome results. It would be helpful to also see a few of your crappy battles and have you point out your mistakes, which may give us better insight to our own and how to correct them.

When i first got this tank I did not fare well, however I now seem to have figured it out pretty well and have a recent Win8 of 3958 and 62% win rate with 2865 average damage. The BS siege DPM drop is indeed BS, sometimes all the switching in and out gets confusing at key moment and I end up trying to run from like 5 tanks in siege mode at 20 kph lol.

Interesting how Skill dislikes the tank saying it is 'difficult'. As I play that tank if feels so great/easy to first class or ace it game after game. I mainly play terrible tanks though. So the Kunze Panzer is at another level from my power creeped tanks.

This season I can choose Kunze or 50t. Cannot reach the 24 coins for cobra. Already have all other tanks. Dont think they will add another tank this season? Is there another chapter this year so I might go for Cobra?

I'm another person not understanding whole excitement regarding this tank. It's not the worst, but hard to call it a good one. Should be working like STB-1, not the way it now "works". Gun handling isn't great, but gets worse outside siege mode... yeah.

In my opinion this tank is better than char futur. I mean ... it's not stellar, but it's not completely bad ... it has worse reload than patton by a bit, but it has higher penetration. Accuracy feels similar. Gun handling is quite bad ... but Char Futur is garbage in this regard. Camo and speed are great. Tank is small ... even compared to german lights, and not a huge target hulldown. It can work as a scout (sort of), it can be medium range or even 2nd line support. It's sort of unique at being 2/3 medium and 1/3 light tank without autoloader. Char Futur is much worse and harder for me, i mentioned gun handling already, you can't surprise anyone with it when you need to aim two, three seconds or so to hit wheel of the tank to track him, he either notices you or repairs track and goes away and you are sitting still for 6 seconds not even firing 2nd shot. It feels like playing tier 6 tank with 35s cooldown time after firing 4 shots. It can't be played aggressively at all.

Yeh its not good, its workable but rather pointless when sitting next to the PTA which is just a so much better tank. It baffles me why in siege you trade mobility, gun handling, AND DPM, for accuracy that is only marginally good and gun depression. This thing should get like 0.24 accuracy in siege if it has to trade all that or just not have the DPM trade. Mobility for accuracy and gun depression would make sense I reckon, but you have this dumb thing where you are jumping in out of siege constantly just because you want some DPM back but also want to be accurate. It also feels for a supposedly mobile tank quite sluggish to me. The only real thing it is good at is peeking from weird angles because of the gun depression so you can surprise enemies, but its very situational and you have to be really careful because of the lack of armour and lower mobility in siege so you can generally only do it at very long ranges or from a bush.
