Tophamhat-kyo is probably one of my favorite Japanese music artist and the moment I saw him on this track I knew it was going to be insane. Edit: also that bit with tophamhat-kyo saying “yummy, no duh” could possibly be a reference to one of his songs “yummy, yummy, yummy” although I could just be reading too far into it.

For clarification Put a cat in a box with a button that will release poisonous gas in the box. The principle states that the cat is in a state where it is both dead and alive as there is an uncertainty whether the cat hit the button. It is only when you look into the box where you can confirm whether the cat is alive or dead.
