I always feel like crying whenever I see poor Kise cry here! He looks so heartbroken! And Kasamatsu is such a sweetheart to just carry him up like that. Btw, stop hating on Aomine, you can see his face that he obviously feels sad for Kise but he just didn't wanna show it

Dont say any bull crap things when you still havent watch the whole seasons or episodes on the anime cuz its kinda super annoying for the people who did

Agreed. When a winner comes out in support it looks more like pity then empathy. And nothing is worse then the pity from the winner for any self respecting athlete. Even though every winner has been a loser some or the other time.

I was really annoyed when i saw this scene because they make aomine seem like a heartless bastard; he actually says "To someone who has lost after trying his best, no words from the winner can console him!” See he understands how kise feels and by not going over and helping, aomine allows kise to maintain his pride ^_^

Yukio was probably the best teammate and leader in the entire series, he had the whole package. Skilled, headstrong, motivating, vocal and loud when needed, reserved and cold-blooded otherwise, willing to defer without hesitation to the better player, steps up clutch and confident when you need him to, great IQ, no holes in his game as a PG, has great sportsmanship, respects all his opponents, strict when needed, supportive and understanding otherwise, keeps his players' arrogance and mindset in line, believes in all his teammates and doesn't try to shoulder everything by himself (which Teppei and Kagami did at the beginning and they're also great teammates and leaders). There is literally nothing more you could ask from a captain, he was the perfect team captain.

The scene where kasamatsu lifts him up. It makes me realise just how small and vulnerable kise looked like, just like a child who lost a game. He acts all sassy and shit, but on the inside he's very emotional. One of the reasons hes my favourite character of the show

You can tell Aomine wanted nothing more than to pick his friend up. Yes he had become a different person but he still has the affection for his former teammates. Kise gave Aomine the beginnings of what he was searching for, and out of respect he didn't pick Kise up, but he wanted too. You can tell by the look on his face and how he didn't leave until Kasamatsu offered his hand. He would have helped Kise if he needed to, he just knew it wasn't his place.

Kasamatsu really proved to be the reliable senpai to Kise, after all he still is a high school fresher.... He might not have won that game but kasamatsu won the respect and dedication of his teammates and that's no less a win

I think the only thing I hate about the anime version is what Aomine says. It sounds a lot more heartbreaking in the manga, "When someone's tried their best and still lost, there's nothing the winner can say to console them." It sounds like he really wanted to help Kise up, as a friend, like when they were back in Teikou, whereas in the anime it seems cold and hostile. I still like Aomine though; if you look at his character, it isn't all that bad. He just needs to be taught a few things :) besides, he sticks up for Kise later on anyway! :D He becomes so extra extra cool during the Winter Cup!

Aomine isn't necessarily bad. He was a really good guy at the start. Once it was proven that he could crush literally anyone, he lost motivation and became lazy and arrogant- he KNEW he would win every time. This dulled his ability to feel a variety of emotions. You can tell by the way he looked at Kise that inside, Aomine still cared for him and wanted to help him- his personality just prevented him from doing so.

00:08 when the music starts... I really feel this scene, as Kise tried to stand up, but he couldnt. That makes me cry. At this moment become Kise my favorite character in the hole series. I liked him before very very much and he was on of my favorites, but with this.. he tried really his best and than the powerless he feel after the match. Man... In the one hand I wished, that Aomine could say something to him but in the other hand.. he is right.. every single word couldn't help Kise in this moment, because it is really frustrated if the winner say to the loser "you did well" or something like that, because obviously this "you did well" wasn't good enough to defeat Aomine. I love this scene soo much. So much emotions and feelings.

Does anyone know the title of the sound track? It hits so perfectly painful with the scene 😭😭😭. Like I wanted to hug Kise so bad. Also, I never thought Aomine is a jerk here. Someone did say better a translation of what he said and he's actually right. Even though they were once teammates, and might actually be friends, they drifted apart because of their immense talents. And in this situation, Kise did lose giving everything he's got. Even if Aomine intend to comfort him, to a loser it might hit differently. I am not saying Kise is a git to even think negatively out of a good action, but at this moment, he's hurt. And pity is the last thing he would want from his rival. Aomine watched him still from a distance though, and when the captain extend a hand, that's when he stepped away, knowing he will be comforted later. Kasamatsu helping him get back up was the best thing. If there's anyone who can console Kise, it's his fellow teammates who lost with him. That locker scene after this too, 😭😭😭😭. I love them all. Even Aomine. He's struggle is different. Typical of someone who's too good. But I think here he's starting change back again to his old self. Kise may have lost, but Aomine gave everything in here too that he also got injured and not be able to play in the next game. He may have not been practicing before this, but he did everything to win. I think he had respected Kise enough to do his best. Love their development really.

It must have been hard on Aomine, he used to be Kise's teammate and friend, he probably wanted to lend a hand to him, but he knew he couldn't. He's right when he said "There's nothing a winner to say to a loser," anyone who has ever lost a fight or contest knows that getting consoled by the person who beat them is just salt in the wound.

For me aomine did the right thing not to help. Kise trusted his teammates at the end, and that's part of the reason why they lost. The best thing he needs is the help from the teammates he trusted not the help of the one defeated them.

Since I watched this show all those years ago Kise has always been my favorite. He funny, considerate, and despite what people think: he’s humble even though he’s a top tier model and basketball player. I love how he’s emotional and acts like a normal person. I will forever love my sunshine boy

This scene was one ofy favorites and this game . Kise was finally able to realize what it means to have a team to rely on each other and what kuroko felt all alone and the reason he left teiko. This whole match and scene was emotional. And they did dirty buy not subbing the ehole thing aomine said . He seems heartless here but the thing he said made sense he wanted kise to keeo his pride

Depends on the moment. The feeling after losing is different. I had experienced a loss in a team sport that we did everything we can. Opponents were just better. We were shocked that they beat us thru the game plan we had but in the end, we just laughed.

+Faadil Siyaad with all respect... you are nuts XD it is true Akashi with his cocky personality and Without Emperor Eye is the weakest of the GoM, but with Emperor Eye he is the strongest of all (Not a fan of him, my favorite is Kise :( . Also... have you seen the 75,5 episode ? the GoM reunite and play in teams of 3, and at the end they said that in every team Akashi was, they were the winners.. so.. it is confirmed he is the "best" of the GoMs

This was the moment my original characters were born for this show. I don't like Kise but this part hurt me. Kise gets revenge with out knowing it by having one of my OC's ask him on a date. The reason why it's revenge is because she's desgined for Aomine and their background is that they are in love with each other but she wants the real Aomine back so until then she'll piss him off, she even tells Kuroko to destroy him. The only problem is that one of my other OC's is in love with Kise but he's to much of a idiot to ask her out because she wants a relationship that leads to marraige, and he doesn't want to be tied down. Hilarity ensues.

Okay, here's what I have t say about this scene: Yes, Aomine may seem like a complete ass for not saying shit to him. But he's still an amazing person. He's really a sweet guy and I hate him just a little bit for causing Kise's injury. If you just watched the second season, you will see that he is actually really fucking adorable and just.... an amazing person in general. So please don't say anything about Aomine until you've seen the second season and understand that he's really sweet.

Kasamatsu is so little but still so fudgin skilled and such a great leader Dx I hated it when he broke down in the locker room at the end of the episode, he sounded like he was being stabbed, shot at, and poisoned x(

we all thought it was aomine's hand, but at the end of the day, they probably did that on purpose, making the audience think that aomine doesn't have the strength to do something like that yet for Kise
