Kurt-Lee Arendse WORLD CLASS Performance vs Australia

I think it's safe to say that Kurt-Lee Arendse is turning into a star with the form he has shown over the last 2 years. He keeps on scoring and the great thing about Arendse is the fact that he is incredible on defence, which is not something you would expect when you look at his size. But just like Cheslin Kolbe, he is fearless and that shows in his attitude on defence as well as under the high ball. But today it wasn't his defensive performance that impressed, it was his try scoring ability again. He just is always in the right place at the right time. His able to create tries as well, but he is turning into an amazing finisher just like Mapimpi. South Africa is incredibly lucky to have someone like Arendse in the same squad as Cheslin Kolbe.
Overall South Africa had an amazing game, and showed an attacking game which is good to see. Libbok and Esterhuizen also put up their hands with great performances and that bodes well for South Africa. I don't think todays game says much about Australia, as this was their first game with Eddie Jones, so it's unfair to expect them to hit on all cylinders in their first game. It's was always going to be a tough game for them traveling to Loftus, I don't think this would've been the result had we played in Australia. So again, it was a good game for the boks, but I wouldn't be too happy just yet, there's still a few players who needs to prove themselves, but today was a great start towards that. But it was an exciting start to the Rugby Championship, but next week is going to be another massive test against New Zealand.
Lastly, I would also like to thank VHA Accounting Solutions for their partnership during this 2023 Rugby Championship. This video was sponsored by them. We look forward to a great partnership during this Rugby Championship

One could argue that is actually better than Kolbe. Kolbe is more exciting to watch, specially when attacking. But Arendse defensively is better, and he scores too.I And is intensity is out of this world. That guy has got a massive heart!

@@J-qh4kd Haha I just have a feeling this whole "A" team, "B" team is going to backfire for us. It's going to put extra pressure on the guys on New Zealand with how this was blown up in the media. I mean sure, this team was not our full strength team, but it sure as hell was not a "B" team. I mean our front row was full strength. Our Back Three (Excluding Kolbe) was full strength. We had Am, and Libbok is technically our number one flyhalf with Pollard injured. So there's quite a few players that would be on our "A" team. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely great for our depth to win with the team we had today. But we shouldn't get arrogant, it's still a very long way from the World Cup.
@J-qh4kd

@TASanalytics Who would win in a game between Uruguay and Italy and why? My take is Italy given their incredible growth over the past 2-3 years, but maybe that's the european bias talking. Thoughts?
@tasanalytics
@tasanalytics 11 ай бұрын
I think Italy would win quite easily to be honest. Even if they play now. Italy has an amazing u20 team this year, and they were good last year as well. People gave the SA u20 team a lot of flack for losing against them, but they don't realize that the Italy u20 is their best u20 team from the last 20 years. So the future looks bright for Italy Rugby. Not to even mention their current international team has quite a few young stars such as their captain and then also some of their backline players. They just need the right coach now, then they can be extremely competitive in the 2027 World Cup

Yeah Koroibete had a few questionable hits in that game. But Pieter Steph du Toit also had a red card incident that was missed, where he dived into a guy's head with his shoulder. I saw it and thought red, but the TMO completely missed it. I'm doing a video tomorrow where I analyze the officiating performance. Overall I thought it was good, but there were some missed stuff. I also thought the AR's were bad today, because there were 2-3 scrums where AUS collapsed it, but the ref was on the other side, yet the AR that was on the side of the collapse, did nothing. But again, overall I thought the officiating was good.
