IIRC, there's also a mod that uses the beta version of the FMV cutscenes, which are just the regular cutscenes without the filter.

Because unlike most wanted it doesnt even have good skybox and lighting, and its painfully Unfinished game. Evironments are barren and lack any polish. Instead of time of day changing skybox and lightning it has dumb fixed skyboxes that switch unnaturarily when you go from area to another. PC Undercover is just a alpha build that go farted out as final release. PS2 Version atleast feels like finished product visually and is fun with its driving model

Tri City Bay is based on Miami and surrounding areas, and every area have a bit diffrent effects(Play it on Xenia emulator, because X360 was most polished of that not polished game)

Because you wondered whats about rich people and the G-Klasse. At first, they have to obviously like SUV's - and in case of the G-Klasse - offroad cars in the first place. Second point and a quite obvious one, the G-Klasse is expensive! Not the most expensive one if you only count buying it, as the Urus and Bentayga are even more expensive in this case, but because of aerodynamics and therefore fuel consumption not anyone has the money for the running costs. (Fun fact: I drove 2 G 350d's (smallest engine and Diesel on top) and both owners had a LONG TERM fuel consumption of 22-24l/100km! And now imagine the G63 or even G65) And as my third and most viable point I want to say that the feeling of driving a G-Klasse or even sitting in one is just unique! You can feel how strong and safe the car is no matter what youre touching (especially opening and closing the doors). Youre sitting above other "peasant" SUV drivers and the newer models are also very luxurious! Such an astonishing car, I really love them since driving the one or other 😅 Edit: As the G-Klasse has sidepipes you can enjoy the sound of the V8 models even more ^^

I want to give nfs undercover but the pc or 7th console version a shot, I had the ps2 version as a kid, and I know a bunch of people disliked it for being mirror version of nfs mw but I liked the story and stuff

Reshade doesnt make games worse, its usually that whoever tuned the reshade sucked. I make my own light edits and find them much more pleasant to the eye.

5:43 Yeah when I was 10 I thought they looked good because it was a ''next gen'' black box game at the time and I was stuck with the PS2 version lol. Could probably be the 360p youtube clips that didn't provide enough evidence or that I was just blinded by hype at the time. Either way I liked the game but playing it at a later date I know now that it's pretty damn ugly with those cheap effects. It hides the lack of fidelity in the game.

It still looks like Driver 3 to me. Probably needs to change the textures, reflections and the saturation and maybe some other color depth options in my opinion.

I think reshade is kind of ressource heavy and most mods that uses it over do it with effects like bloom, desaturation, chromatic aberration and weird """""rtx""""" reflections. As for enbs I don't really know much about them.

As zedcario explained, those can be resource intensive. You have to see Reshade as an improved ENB, but in a more complex way, and the thing is that usually people tend to overuse them to have the game look good, at the expense of player's computer. This mod however allows you to choose what you want, and that's one of the good points about it

Y'know, as an average NFS player, I'd say the modded version of Undercover (Reformed and UC Exposed) makes this game x10, no x100 better experience than the vanilla game as a whole since I disliked the janky handling and abysmal nuclear bloom a long time ago. Whoever says vanilla stuff is better (handling and visuals) than the modded have major skill issues.

Well, i enjoy it and i always will, but consider this mod and Reformed mod as one of the best attempts there is. You have zero to no clue how complex or hardcoded stuff the original devs put into the game. Hell, there's even some cool features that got canned and a few people barely know about them. Makes sense why you wouldn't play it, and i agree with that.
