To me it was an amazing title, I was fresh off Shift, which was trash, and this was so good, everything was simply fun, soundtrack was fun, racing was fun, busting and crashing racers with cop cars was insanely fun, and it had such a simple premise to it, I legit never felt so good with such simple racing, specially its successor, MW2012, that was atrocious, gutter trash, and it had more or less the same concept, just not fun no more.

yup. HP 2010 was the last NFS game that was universally liked by the community and only a small minority disliked the game.

@@Subwaygoonfree 1) Boring repetitive gameplay where everything’s made to unnecessary stretch time, you need to go through the same races for each license in order to complete them all again 2) Monotony of routes that are used in all modes, there are at most 10 finishes throughout the city and all the races revolve only around them with the same optimal routes for them which almost always looks like straight line 3) Awful takedown registration, when you can spend an hour pushing a light sports class car, but at the same time, in an instant, obliterate a vehicle with max strength stats in single push And two my personal reasons why I don’t love it (can’t say I hate it but still) 1) Little amount of interesting music (looks like that’s Criterion issue even today), there’s 3-4 good songs, everything else is mid average rock, classical music and reused ost from previous games which makes biggest part of the whole OST 2) This game requires you to remember the entire map in order to have even the slightest chance at the end of the game to complete at least one stunt race. because in the end, the demands become ridiculous. 300k points in 1 minute, like wtf, I came here to destroy cars, not to play cars Dark Souls and remembering patterns. After the first three reasons, I think Criterion too much full of itself if it thinks it deserves that I should remember whole map, instead of adding variety to the race paths and actually introduce me to it

@@floppelations I despise modern simrace mania, and don’t even consider AC as a game because it isn’t, there’s nothing in it to be called more than simulator, and still don’t love Burnout Paradise. We want really fun arcade games, not repetitive ones
