I've owned a k2000 since 1991, best synth ever made in my opinion, there isn't a sound it can't produce, it's made me a lot of money over the years.

An FBI contractor just sold me one of these, a preamp, an eq and a handful of midi controllers for 100 dollars in the backwoods of idaho!!! My life was immediately and forever changed!! This synth is so freakish I am at a loss for words! Great demo btw

I used to go to Musiikki-Kullas in Oulu, Finland about 30 years ago to drool and play with K2000 and fantasized buying one when I grow up. Never did buy. 😁

At 6:50, the Matrix Melo strings sounds a lot like my Xpander Melo Strings patch. Pretty close if not dead on. These synths are pretty awesome.

sadly limited by only 24 voices but the V.A.S.T.-Synthesis was very good!

.....not really 24,due to complex vast architecture every voice can deliver up to 4 oscillators using synthesis blocks and no filters. so in normal condition you have 24 pcm voices but combining them with dsp waves you could have the effect of 96 voices.

K2500/K2600 doubles this, but as you almost never need to use it for more than 1-2 parts in a song anyway, 24 is enough to have two complex parts playing with even a fully programmed drum section.

@@LFOstore Im new to this, but acquired a couple K2VX's. Can you transmit the patches to it via sysex and not overwrite existing patches? I want to store these in unused banks. Perhaps you have some instructions on using KRZ files? I'm attempting to setup a zuluscsi mini, but pretty lost on how to manage patches.
