A couple of years ago, I saw a video of people online doing gofundme for an illegal vendor that kept getting charged for not following the rules. There was an outcry on social media on law enforcers bullying “hard workers”. Well, this is the ripple effect.

Whats frustrating is that this can be fixed so easily. Fire your Mayor and law makers.

A unlicensed fruit vendor had a cart right in front of a hosiptal and urgent care clinic for years this person set up each day, now they have passed laws giving them the right to operate, the sell tacos, fruit and hot dogs now in every community in los Angeles county. The moral of the story is break the law until you make the law. Don't learn English, force them to learn Spanish which became Spanish speaking only hiring practices, yet illegals call people racists when they speak about illegal immigration.

Those illegal vendors are probably not legal themselves. Total disrespect for our country and people. Kick them out.

What could go wrong with open borders?

The same thing happened at the Santa Monica pier and the surrounding area. They trashed the area, were a fire hazard on the pier, disrespected and insulted law enforcement, and were sometimes violent. The city had to spend over a $million on private security and installing new fencing on the pier. The city also began patrolling the area with teams consisting of county health inspectors, law enforcement, city code enforcement, and fire dept personnel. Despite the huge effort, it still took months for the illegal vendors to leave.

I grew up and went to school with these types of kids. They are entitled and rude. The parents from Mexico have decent morals, but somehow, the kids don't. The language barrier prevents the parents from knowing what their Mijos do outside the house.

Illegal food vendors haven't had their food prep environment inspected for safety. You take your chances when you eat their food. Do they regularly and properly wash their hands? Do they sanitize their work surface? Etc... Government officials in Calif seem to be impotent. Why?

They do it all over NYC too. You can't hop a train or walk down the street without one of them approaching you selling food illegally. They also have the kids 4+ walk around and ask people to buy stuff.

After I got out of the Service in 1973, I moved out to San Diego, and for this Georgia Farm Boy/Cowboy, It Was Heaven. I remember pulling off the road to get out and "Examine"(Look At) the unusual plants growing on the Roadside.(Ice Plants Are Beautiful). I made some Great Friends and had A Big Time in the years that followed(It took me 35+ years to get back to Georgia, and I Loved every minute of it) Boy, Am I glad I got to see and Enjoy it before San Diego and Most of California turned To Crap. I'll Never Go Back. I'll just remember how Wonderful it used to be & All the Good Times I had and Good People I met & came to Love(Most of them have Left Ca. for obvious reasons)

Born and raised in LA and never happier that i moved out 3 years ago and bought my house in a conservative town in PA. I get anxiety every time i come back to visit family because i know either my rental car will get broken into or im gonna get yelled at by some homeless person. Living in PA I never have to worry about locking my doors or letting my kids play on the street until night time...things are super quiet and the worst offense here is evangelicals knocking on your door.

They don’t enforce them anywhere. The valley has turned into a pop up food tent litter fest. There is one on every corner.

We used to enjoy taking the kids to Sea port village in San Diego. Last time we went I thought we were in Tijuana. Must have been 100 set up between the village and the Midway. The only thing missing were the homeless. They were all around our hotel. Pitiful!

There is a simple way to fix this, it is called, "law enforcement".

Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Here in Toronto, they're so strict, we're lucky to have our legit hot dog vendors. I've been envying new York City and their food trucks, which in our city are very limited. How the heck do some places get away with murder, while others are hemmed in by by-laws. Coming from Montreal, where food and drink were always consumed responsibly, I can't understand all these wacky rules and regulations. So sad to see legit vendors getting harrassed by the illegals. There need to be more reporters like this one who call people out, too often, reporters maintain that poker face, which while it may be the professional standard, doesn't light a fire under the politicians. Get the cops out there to do a sweep before those people set up there carts.
