In this video, we carry out the Renovation of the backyard, with the removal of the old lawn with shovels and the laying of a new lawn from the turf.

Wow, I would loved to have had the old lawn, why did they need to replace it? Just needed mowing. Wish I could have all that sod you dug up, it was rich and gorgeous.

It actually looked a lot worse, if you mowed it, the whole lawn was in dry patches, you just couldn't see it because the grass was tall!

You and your colleague are absolutely outstanding landscape contractors! The way A you both meticulously removed existing turf, painstakingly did soil prep and then did the installation of the new sod, was one of the best did installations I have seen in a very long time! You two are consummate professionals with a diverse array of extraordinary talents! The grass you threw away is exactly... the soil from the bags you scattered as substrate for the new lawn, made from rotting plants . It was enough to somehow bury them so that they became mulch (fertilizer) for other plants. (tree , flowers, ..., vegetable).

Thanks for your comment, the old grass had a lot of weeds, so if you just dig it up and leave it in the ground, the problem is that the weed will start to grow, because of this we remove the top layer completely.

Thank you, the whole difficulty was that the weather was very hot and it was necessary to lay the turf as soon as possible so that it would not dry out!

Спасибо, да на вид трава хорошая, но на самом деле если подстричь там много пустых мест проплешин, досеивать и ждать они не хотели поэтому просто заменили.

А прежняя трава тоже ковриками была? Так ровненько снимается. У себя в саду такой идеальной поверхности так и не добилась. А под качельками что нибудь резиновое положить, все равно вытрется детишками

Amazing job.👍♥️ Labour intense. If you dont mind, how much did this cost? A customer wants his lawn replacing hlf the size of this. I work alone and have never done it before, hence the research. I usually do general gardening and basic landscaping. 🤷 im more inclined to accept the job, but I would need to invest in a shovel like you're using to remove the lawn. Another video recommends cutting small squares into the grass and lifting it with a gardening fork although i prefer your technique. The lawn has wet muddy soil (uk) rather than dry soil so maybe that would have an effect on how to approach it?? Any advice would be grand ✊️ Edit. Subd

Thank you, the old grass looked good, but in fact, if you cut it, there are a lot of bald spots where there is no grass, so the client just wanted to change the lawn.

Moc hezky se na to dívá, ale myslím si že jste potom hodně unavený. Ještě vám tam navíc překáží houpačka s pískovištěm. Vynikající práce. Zřejmě jde o výměnu travnikove plochy, jinak by to nešlo tak jednolite odkrýt. Děkuji moc ❣️👍👍👏

Thank you very much, this is Oscorna fertilizer for grass roots, since it is not advisable to pour fertilizer on a fresh lawn, there is a chance that the grass will burn, so we pour it before laying.

Shame you dug up the old one. Definitely looked in a condition to be able to restore it! You should have rotavated the soil for aeration which improves drainage and removes unwanted debris like weeds. Digging it up and raking it, then spreading a bit of compost on before laying is only going to give the same lawn you had a season down the line. Bare patches/weeds are indicative of bad lawn care, drainage and incorrect watering. Also not sure why you're double handling your materials.

Thank you for your advice, this is what the Homeowner wanted us to remove the old lawn as he didn't want to wait for the old one to regenerate. The soil was very hard so we had to carefully loosen it!

I would've took turf out and then came in with new turf to cut down the time as u going out or in with a empty wheelbarrow..im hiring a turf cutter to do my 55m2 in the next month or so ill record it and put it on my channel

Wouldn’t it be quicker if you had brought the sod in on a wheel barrel instead of individually? That’s how I would of constructed it. Nice job though. Well done !

It's just that this sod was lying in the garage, so it wasn't very far to bring it up!

Usually, you need to cut off the root layer, that's about 5 cm!

Thank you very much for watching, the passage was blocked, so I had to do double work, and quickly lay the grass to free the passage for the removal of old turf.

habt ihr keine schubkarren , was eine unnötige arbeit , vor allem mit dem abgeschüppten rasen 3 x in die hand genommen , ich hätte erst mit leerem anhänger den alten rasen abgefahren , und dann den beim abschüppen gleich auf die karre und auf den hänger

Hallo, die Palette mit dem Gras direkt vor der Garage entladen wurde und den Gang schloss, also musste ich die doppelte Arbeit mit der Verlagerung von Ort zu Ort machen!

@@kustorez777 oh , darum , aber sonst unnütze verschwendung von energie sie sind zwar noch jung , aber irgendwann geht es auf die knochen , da muss man sich das so einfach wie möglich machen , ich habe früher sehr viel mit 2 ortsansässigen containerfirmen zusammengearbeitet aber seid jahren braucht man eine schriftliche genehmigund der stadt , gemeinde um container im öffentlichem raum abzusetzen kosten tut es auch , hat man keine gibt es einen punkt und ca 900 euro geldstrafe , da sehr viele kundeneinfahrten mitlerweile mit klinkern gepflastert sind fällt auch das weg der container würde mit den rollen , beim absetzen die klinker beschädigen

The prep was totally wrong Absolutly no need to replace the lawn if you are just scalping the top It needs to be decompacted dug over trodden down and then relayed Terrible And i should know because ive been in this job for over 40 years
