Kuthiran Tunnel is a 165 Crore Project Built between the Thrissur Palakkad Route to Avoid The 3KM Stretch Road which caused a lot of grid locks. The concept of Kuthiran Tunnel History Dates Back Very long and was planned in 2009 and started construction by 2016. It Took 5 Years to Complete The Construction From 2016 to 2012, The Left Tunnel was opened at first in July 31, 2021 and the Right Tunnel was opened in Jan 20, 2022.
This Magnificent Kuthiran Tunnel Thrissur Was opened many times during the construction in times of emergency such as the 2018 Kerala flood and some gridlocks caused by the accident. The previous Kuthiran bridge had frequent gridlocks due to many accidents and a total of 235 people have lost their lives over the past decade.
This Best Tunnel Road in India is indeed a life saver and also the time, The Thrissur Tunnel is of approximately 1KM Long with two emergency Cross overs with Cameras every 100ft.
