It's simple, everyday that we wake up men & women we are all given 2 thing's #1 a chance #2 a choice...if you have a brain use it it's that simple & it's never to late to change because everyone cuz use some type of improvement that is a form of positive change. Most states don’t give wrongfully convicted people any money. And citizens can’t sue just for the wrongful convictions. In most states there needs to be severe misconduct by police or prosecutor to even be allowed to sue. Just being sloppy or not having much evidence doesn’t qualify...

My heart feels for this young man my brother got arrested when he was 15 and hes still incarcerated in Connecticut was sentenced to 45yrs to complete half his time.. that was in 1996..here we are and still waiting for him to come back home to us. He to is a positive inmate and didn't let the system make him.. he did al the school studies that were offered to him .. schooling is very important to him he raised himself..everyday I see my mother suffer and get older by the years that went by ..it's a sad situation to actually live this life than read about it some where ... the struggle is real.. this is real life. I believe this young man.

I feel for you... my dad got locked up in 2002. I was in second grade & I am now 27. He still isn’t eligible for parole till 2025. It gets scary. You wonder if your loved ones will even make it home. The worst feeling ever, besides the fact that you’re missing them. 💔 the offer programs & some take them serious & really change in a number of years & still they’re in there for life. Ive seen so many people rather just get death row then get life. They rather have a date they leave then sit there & look forward to nothing.. I don’t even know if my dad will be released. It’s a “possibility” & it’s sad.

Another reason for not liking the death penalty. Here in the UK I have served jury service twice (two weeks on both times) there was always someone who didn't give a crap and wanted to find obviously innocent people guilty, so they could go home..... Sickening, thanks to us decent people they didn't get their way.

This is what happens when you have a justice system where guilt or innocence are irrelevant because no one is terribly interested in solving cases and all revolves around closing them instead. With police forces being terribly overworked and only have a short amount of time to spend on each case before having to move on to the next since no politicians wants to approve more money to hire more detectives, there is always pressure on those officers to close cases whether they have the right guy or not. Careers depend on it, prosecutors and district attorney's reelections depend on this......... so when a possible suspect comes up that somewhat fits the bill, he/she is booked, end of story. As far as the courts and trials go, well a jury is as impressionable as the audience at a theater and whoever comes up with the better and more convincing story wins and evidence is really secondary. Here in Texas there are a number of people on death row awaiting execution who were convicted on purely circumstantial evidence, a death sentences imposed when prosecutors had zero physical evidence, but the accused happened to not have a solid alibi and he happened to fit the bill. I'm not saying that everyone behind bars is innocent, but this sort of stuff happens a lot

That's why you refuse to talk to cops and ask for a lawyer. This guy told the cops his whereabouts for various timelines and then the cops lied and moved the molestation dates over to times and dates correlating to his availability. If he had kept quit, then cops would have had to settle in on a specific accusation and date and then the accused would just show up to court with alibis and receipts and video surveillance to prove it wasn't him.

CultPackPsychopaths Unmasked exactly but I understand why ppl talk especially when innocent but after watching these shows I wouldn't say boo to the police at all plus it's your right to remain silent anyway and to speak to attorney so why these ppl talk is beyond me they obviously haven't followed many cases otherwise they'd know better!

the police establish probable cause, they bring it to the DA who presses charges; it goes to a Grand Jury; it goes to trial; he has the opportunity to present his case, and a jury determines guilt or innocence.
