When to school with and had classes with Kwame at FAMU. He was also on the football team. Kwame was a good dude and a great student. I can only say what I know of him to be true. Ironically enough I also went to school with Ray Nagin (former Mayor of New Orleans) at Tuskegee Institute. Ray was the QB of our intermural football team (The Machine). We won the championship, undefeated, and Ray was a big reason. Another good dude who found himself mired in controversy.

Kwame is an intelligent articulate black brother who had the ball in his hand could have spearheaded change and dropped the ball. The power and fame him consumed him and he paid for it. I do not feel sorry for the brother. He is not a victim. He could have stayed low under the Feds redar; however he looked for the spotlight and they found him. God forgives . Adultery is nothing. The wife knew she was #1 on paper. She wouldn't leave, bc her whole image and stature depends on the marriage. So cheating and a youth smart man will yeild to other women. The Tamera Green case is the highlight, weird, and sad. Other than that he could have had a presidential vote from many of us, with Detroit being his exemplary work. We followed his work globally, i dont think he knew his opportunity and got comfy in his arrogance. Great mind, great leader, great visionary who knew how to rebuild a city. I was still living in my home of Detroit during both of his terms and there were many rumors about the things that Kwame and his crew did; the stripper party at the Mayor's Mansion in which one of the strippers died. Kwame was guilty, detroit has had black majors since the 80's and still has them, not one other major has been convicted of anything close to wjat kwame was. He also was pardoned by Donald trump and has of last week vauched for trump when he came to Detroit to talk to black Churches in the area, ol'boy is just running the trump script. Everyone in detroit knew he was giving out sweetheart contracts to people, not saying other majors didnt do the same thing but kwame was just so flagrant with it. Kinda disiponed with marks light ball interview. After kwame detroit was in one of the worst financial situation it ever saw. They sold off alot of schools and city property for pennies on the dollars, it was a realy bad time and kwame wasnt totally resposible but he did profits himself and his family and freinds on the backs of the citys residence. He didnt leave Detroit in a better way than when he joined it.

What exactly makes you think he didn't research Kwame Kirkpatrick? Do you think you know his story better than he does? I didn't hear either Kirkpatrick or Hill proclaim him to have been an innocent political prisoner. Did you even bother to listen to the interview while you continued condemning him?

Really! Go preach… How about just live right. Just another way to make money. He has to figure out someway to make money now that his political career is done. God is calling you to live right first. He has the gift of gab. But that’s not God telling you to now go out and start a church and preach. You must be anointed and appointed by God to be effective.

Mr. Hill. KK and I attended the same fitness center. When I first heard him talk, I knew he had a gift to gab. When he got elected, I knew he wasn’t ready and not due to inabilities but his arrogance. KK wore big diamond ear rings and played on Detroiter’s blind love of Coleman A Young (the biggest drug dealer) in Detroit. KK is a talent. I’m glad he’s out. The time did not match the crime. But then again, the Feds can’t prove his involvement in the Tamara Green case, time is time.
