It actually is the same. This is KWCs own, unlicensed version. The Tanfoglio may be more expensive - or at least it has been.

Was about to say the same... I have the Tanfoglio because i used to have a Limited Custom in 9mm. They did a good job on it , nice and strong blowback , but accuracy is terrible 🤣🤣🤣

@@dannybax1982 Yea.. I've found that to be quite odd.. My 4.5mm Tanfoglio Limited Custom shoots sub 1" groups from 20ft (when the shooter is having a good day) - but my KWC 75 TAC does not perform as accurate - even though basically being the exact same pistol. But I blame the shape of the outer barrel. Nothing really accurate about that.

@@brorjordas1979 Yeah it's like shooting a 12gauge at like 6~7 yards in my case. And i know i'm at least a little better then that 🤣🤣 The spread is just terrible , i'm not sure what it is. Could be the barrels themselfs , could be fitment. All i know it's not for target practice by any means 🤣

@@dannybax1982 It is the barrels. The plastic shroud/bushing on the inner barrel leaves a small play - and the outer barrel is not tight in the slide end either. The muzzle break on this competition model do help a little bit because of the weight it gives at the barrel end to keep it steadier down.

Another great review. In terms of loading BBs , I made a simple hook from a coat hanger. Saves the finger nails ..

Great gun, I have the Cybergun Tanfoglio Limited Custom Eric Grauffel, which is this gun minus the rail and extension, mine has the front and rear sight, very nice to shoot and surprisingly accurate for a bb gun.

if you want the same impressions, but cheaper, you can buy Swiss Arms Tanfoglio Gold Custom. Very good pistol with sport features and nice appearance

@@RawEngineer Yes. SA do compete with the prices. SA do have this way nice KWC 1911 in metal finish that looks pretty nice - but SA's all-black items, with a big "SWISS ARMS" print in bright white onto it; never been my thing.

I've had my kwc CZ 75 gold custom for about a year now, it's very similar to the one in the video but in a silver finish. As Andy said, it's very accurate for a blowback BB pistol and great fun. Only slight down side is the rate it gets through Co2 bulbs, but it's well worth it 🤣

I've seen that Vector Air advertises airsoft also. I suggest you try and airsoft pistol CO2, that you can equip with a flash and tracer unit, ex. an Acetech Blaster. For the airgun only community, this would be of interest. Thank you for putting out a very good show.

I was undecided on this until you took it out and fired it. Now I just might pick one of these up, it looks fun in a Selene in Underworld kind of way. Wonder if they make a fully automatic version... 🤔

I think I know the inspiration for this, it's a real very expensive target pistol in 9mm parabellum it's called the Laugo Alien it's also weird looking if you want to know more check out Forgotten Weapons vid on the subject

Good video. Its a rebranded Tangfolio Custom, but it does look quality and lots of fun as you say. Would be nice if it did include red dot sight. All the best from lancashire.

I just love these KWCs! I own the iron sight version of this one (KWC 75 TAC) and the Tanfoglio Limited Custom. I mostly avoided this race gun model (or the Tanfoglio Gold Custom) because no iron sights do come along in the box. Otherwise these are way damn nice. I love the all-metal hefty feel, the good blowback - and the damn lovely SAO trigger. I though nowadays do concider to buy one of these - just so I'd get the barrel and the rail..😁 These are way nice looking pistols - just as the CZ model 75 back in the day..

@@bigopalcup Some do not like KWC, but I do surely. Probably not the highest in quality (compared to high priced top end brands) - but overall way good stuff for the price. I own many BB airpistols by KWC, and all of them worked well. KWC 1911 models often had known co2 mag valve leak issues - but them easily fixed by any handy owner. Overall you get pretty good blowback BB pistols by KWC imo. I had to look up for the KWC Sigma - and for a blowback BB pistol €109 is way inexpensive even. I'd probably also consider buying one of them if wanted a new bbk airsoft pistol...so thank you for the tip!👍🏻

It amazes me that so many BB pistol magazines are poorly designed. By that I am referring to how the magazine spring plunger must be held down to load BBs. This is rough on the fingernails. The solution is so obvious, simply put a little notch in the side of the loading rail so the plunger tab can be pushed into the notch to lock it in the down position. Few manufacturers do it. A perfect example of this clever design is present in the Springfield Armory M-1 carbine mag, and it works great. Loading BBs is a snap. Wake up manufacturers!!

Hello Andy, Fairly new to all of this. Very much enjoy your Videos. Having just recently invested in an Air Arms TX200 in.177, would The Vector Everest 3-18x50 Scope be a good partner for this? Mainly Range and Target, but will get roped into the occasional Hunting Trip. These Scopes APPEAR to offer more for money, than Hawke etc, but I also don't want to buy something thats ' all mouth and no trousers', as it were. Your thoughts ? Many thanks.

I've got a bunch of different Race Guns (pistols) and love them! They're designed for fast target shooting (much larger targets) and not Olympic style target shooting so they're all about fast target acquirement, fast slides, fast reloading (with extra magazines) and ease of use with the oversized controls and flared magwell so you don't have to take your eyes off the targets, also recoil management with powder burner versions hence the weight, muzzle brake and low bore axis. I'm left-handed and this pistol (as well as other race guns like it) can reverse the mag release (if you use the double dimpled mags) and cocking handle. Check out IPSC competition shooting for more info on these.

I was thinking IPSC type shooting with this, so as long as it can handle lead BBs like H&N Excite so we get deformation and no rebounds, it would work well enough, esp if spare mags are available.

@@engineeredlifeform Most spring mag fed guns don't like the lead as they deform, not sure about 'dust devil' as I don't have any. Airsoft versions are accurate too. Using cardboard targets and wearing safety glasses tends to nullify the odd ricochet anyway.

@@shovelchop81bikeralex52 I use lead BBs in my Anics A101 mag fed BB air pistol just fine, but Andy did say the spring in this is a bit strong, so maybe it would be an issue with this gun. Although it's probably not hard to swap out for weaker spring.

@@engineeredlifeform Just don't try those Gamo full lead bbs, they're oversized and jam all the time. I'd say they'd work in Gamos but none of my Gamos have ever worked properly either! LOL.

Hi andy sorry if this sounds like trying to teach granny to such eggs but if you look at the gun this and the tangfolyo are modeled on you will get a better idea as to the use of this gun and as well as plinking will add an extra dimension to the fun as there is a good reason to have a near wait match and feal to it, As much as i would like to shoot the real thing in competition i don't have the money or time but shooting against the clock in the garage with friends is cheap fun and if taught to younger people could teach them safe gun use by muscle memory if you teach them the speed shooting rool's. Thanks for all the hard work.

Hello Andy. If you haven’t tried them yet, ask your optometrist about bifocal contact lenses. They might help with using open sights or they might not - but worth trying.

That's a nice looking pistol for sure. Is the sight mount meant to move like it does though? You can see the movement very plainly during the slow motion footage.

I noticed that as well especially the last slomo shot, the rail seemed to move up when the action went back forward as if that bolt attachment block pushed it up.

I do like a replica BB pistol. I think you've confused a single stage trigger to a single action trigger, easy done, good review though.

The only thing that throws me of BB pistols/rifles is the fact that you cannot use them in most of the public shoorting ranges for Airguns. They just bounce of to much. ;(

Yes. Exactly same magazines (and pistol actually also). Only color finished may vary. KWC manufactured. I own both a Tanfoglio Limited Custom and a KWC 75 TAC - everything is interchangeable.

Hi Andy! I’m not a keyboard warrior or a hater - but I’d like to pick you up on something if I may: I’ve noticed that you don’t always use the ‘correct’ gun terms for parts of a gun - so for example - the part of the pistol that sits in the web of your hand is a ‘tang’ - not a ‘tail’. I’ve also heard you call a ‘sling’ a ‘strap’. (Straps are for handbags! Lol) This may sound trifling - but it does (for me) grate a little!! Anyway - great content, keep it up!! 😊👍

Great gun but please, all manufacturers, why not a spring catch at the bottom of the mag slide ?? It's no fun to hold these springs down. Come on !!! :-)

Good morning Andy and thank you for another great review. I have to agree with James it’s almost identical to the Tanfoglio Gold Custom it’s a great pistol but sadly over the years apart from the obvious signs of wear it’s also developed a rattle so this may well be it’s successor 👍

I have a weird question.. Staying within British law.. Break barrel.. If you're shooting pellets that are under the 12ft# of energy.. Its not fac.. But.. If you switch to a different pellet,and makes it 14ft# it is fac.. How do they determine at sale what is fac and what isn't? I hope this question makes sense?

This gun, along with its twin, the TGC, are just marvelous copies of Eric Graufell's actual 2007 race gun. The looks and build quality shine, while accuracy is quite acceptable for a "replica" BB gun. Remember, true race guns are meant/made to hit steel plates while on the run, not punch holes in paper within a dimes diameter at 10 paces. One of the better replica airpistol BB guns out there, IMHO, of course.......😄

It may be cheaper then a shrink, but if the shrinks find out you are interested in guns of any kind it becomes expensive.

UK airgun laws are PATHETIC .I despise the people who forced 6lbs onto air pistols .They are less than worms ,As kids we had way more powerful toys .I am embarrassed
