I think that in order to make a revolver effective, you need to: - make your shots count - buy extra sets of cartages - buy an additional speed loader for every set of 6 - load speed loaders beforehand This will allow you to reload by quickly putting a new speed loader in after emptying the revolver.

I have an idea for a game theme. The roaring 20's and or the dirty thirty's . two factions one being law enforcement " The Prohibition" and the other being gangster or mob like ..Could even be more then two seperate mob families foghting for the turf. You can only use the Thompson , shotguns, revolvers and perhaps limited 1911s . these revolvers will fit in perfectly.
@Reshiram90016 жыл бұрын
Include BAR's in there along with foam baseball bats and/or foam knives. BAR's were popular with the mob because .30-06 could punch through thick cover that .45 ACP from the Thompson or 1911 couldn't. Only problem with the game mode is that everyone would raid the local secondhand stores for suit pieces and there wouldn't be anything cheap left.
@johnnykeller76485 жыл бұрын
A Colt Python wouldn't be a "period correct" firearm (Dont get me wrong sounds like a great game setup premise) Proper replicas would be... 1. Colt M1897 "New Army" revolver (which was produced for the commercial market all the way up into the early 30's) 2. S&W Military-Police or M&P Model-10 (produced from 1897 all the way till the early 90's and recently resurrected as part of the S&W "Classic Line") 3. Colt M1911 (non-A1 variants) 4. Winchester M1897 5. Ithaca M37 6. Thompson M1928A1 7. Springfield M1903A1-A2 8. FNH M1900 9. Colt Automatic Pocket-Lite .25 ACP 10. Mauser C97 11. Luger P08 12. Walther P38 (imported to U.S. and sold on the commercial market as the "P1" after the war) I know some of these models exist currently in airsoft form...those are just a few models off the top of my head...and outside of the "real steel" community I don't think there's that much appreciation for relatively "obscure" firearms of the early 20th century within the airsoft community if there isn't I'm not sure the demand would be large enough for airsoft manufactures to justify the cost of tooling up only to produce a couple hundred of each model and effectively loose whatever capital they invested in initial start up.
@ThatOneFriendlyDude5 жыл бұрын
Interestingly enough, WE does produce a replica of a .25ACP mouse gun. Whether or not it’s the gun you’re taking about, I’m not sure. I wonder what a game or event using only replicas of these would be like...

I love my KWC 4" Revolver . All metal excellent quality, nice weight with a smooth matt finish. How ever it is let down by the screw plug at the base of the handle. This has a plastic thread and is very fiddly to remove. Once you have dropped the CO2 into place be very careful not to cross thread the plug. The allan key can get in the way, so I've removed one side of the grip , this allows me better access and I can screw the plug in till I hear the hiss.

Nice looking handgun, KWA seem to be getting good at making unusual models. I have the CO2 Luger P08 in 4 inch, it's a work of art. Maybe the gas seal at the back of the cartridges needs a bit of silicon oil to help it work, the random FPS is not what I'd expect from KWA. Nicely reviewed anyway Mike

More revolvers need to be made with a hop up preferably on the outside. I think revolvers have the potential to compete with many hi capas, aaps, mk23, ssx23s. If they gave them a hop up and better inner barrels. They would be super accurate out of the box. They could also do a single action with a spring setup and make it pretty cheap. Anyway doing a new inner barrel and adding a hop up would really make revolvers shine. I know the H8r has a hop up but but that thing could use better parts to make it shoot even better.
