That card should be framed. No words necessary. I had no idea what you were doing but I am in awe. It so beautiful.

Kristina, a tip for keeping gel pens from drying out. If you've noticed that the pens work great when you first get them, but some end up drying out quickly. It's because the pens come with that tiny piece of wax covering the tip; save that and put it back on the tip when you're finished. If you lose it, a tiny bit of polymer clay do the trick.

Lovely card but WAY above this stamper's abilities....starting with making all those perfect squares! It was fun watching the process...
@rosethorne79735 жыл бұрын
Same. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler! I'm getting out my square dies instead and raise one of those squares with foam pads. It is a lovely card though.

Hi Kristina! Wow, I loved this card so much, I just had to give it a go! I used different paints (Kuretake) as I don't have the the new ones you are using but the results were really good. I also used different stamps & card stock. There were a few "issues" along the way but I worked around them, ah the joy of card crafting! It truely was a lovely journey and I was really pleased with the end result. I Sent it to my neice for her birthday. I've learned a lot from you over the years over here in the UK, thank you so much for sharing your talent and giving me (& everyone else) such a wonderful gift. Xxxxx

I love the colors in this card. And, I'm always amazed to watch you draw perfectly straight lines. I've also watched you draw perfect circles on other videos. I'm sure that took a bit of practice, but it's still fun to watch.

This is the most beautiful card! I took your Simply Watercolor class and with a few changes it could be made in that style. I am however trying to find an easier way to create the boxes, I would end up using a whole roll of tape.

Beautiful design!...as always. Love watching your creative process. Question.......why not just stamp with white ink instead of purple and then gel pen on top?

You could do that. I just didn't have a white ink handy.
@kristinevencel28985 жыл бұрын
Thank you for replying. Ok, I get it. I just thought there was some special trick I was missing. This old brain does that to me sometimes. Lol
@vickicervantes18174 жыл бұрын
I have found when I do that with stamping ink first than the white gel pen, it let's just a little glamour of the ink that's under the white gel pen come through almost like if it's a sheer curtain🥰❣. Some of the middle to dark colors of ink that's under the gel pen are really quite beautiful. I have loved art my whole life, because it's such an interesting and magical experience just waiting for the explosion of Beautiful art coming to life.🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❣ Like painting wet on wet that's like Christmas just waiting for it to dry😊❤❣

I love how you did the watercoloring, Kristina! I'd have been using my ruler like a mad girl, rather than just eyeballing. I just don't trust my eyes! LOL But I think the card came out great. The gold paint adds such an elegant touch, & I like how the white greeting still stands out on the white paper since you stacked it up. Thanks for showing how to do "cheater" doodling, too. I think that really helps those of us who might be intimidated by the thought of freehand drawing on a piece. I'm also glad you had such upbeat music. This week has been bad with my depression, & I just couldn't take somber or even calming music. Anyway, hope you have an awesome day, & happy Fourth of July! :)
