President Kagame meets and discusses with young Africans at the Pan African Youth Summit in Kigali.
The Government of Rwanda in collaboration with Umurinzi Young Professionals and Leo Africa Forum hosted the Pan African Youth Conference themed 'Beyond Liberation Movements: Shaping our Future'.
As Rwanda celebrates twenty years since its liberation and the end of the Genocide against the Tutsi, the conference will bring together young leaders from around Africa to reflect on past liberation movements across the continent and the role of the youth in solving the socio-economic challenges it faces today. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with young African leaders and engage with leaders who have led liberation movements, and continue to shape the continent's destiny.

The execuses of saying if a country opens up its border to each other will attract criminals, that is very illogical and nonsense, real criminals cross borders easily even sometimes with help from government officials or fake affiliation to legitimate institutions. If a country gives official travel document to a person, I would like think that person is less likely to be criminal in sense that we are talking about here, plus, when they get to the destination country, there are must be checks, I assume a country like Rwanda has good checks in place to ensure foreign citizens meet the requirements to be in the country - anyways, we Africans sometimes are too narrow minded and barrier to our own progress

Africans have everything but we have been brainwashed to be subjects and have no initiatives to free ourselves like bobmarley sang mental slavery is real!We learn things in school to work for a few shillings after investing so much we end up jobless. Why not encourage our kids to be individuals thinkers inovators listen to them, my dad did that he gave me pocket money so that i would decide what to buy for myself in the 70's i was about 8yrs old or so. He knew my favorite colours so when he bought clothes he put that into consideration! Till now if i talk to somebody i look them in the eye even when i know the odds are against me but in the end i decide to go along or not.Everything in life has a price tag on it either you pay or not! 😎
