Hey Mr Kwik, I’ve been listening to your videos in the car and just around the house for about a month or two now and I’m so inspired by your work and your story! You helped reinforce the mindset that anything including reading fast is learnable for anyone! Keep doing what your doing and don’t let up no matter what! Thanks for being a part of my personal journey to completing my long term goals!

Thank you for sharing!!! I need to read faster to get through the MCAT's CARS (Critical Analysis Reasoning Skills) section... it's killing me. The passages are so boring. I think I can improve on decreasing my subvocalization.

Hi can you explain to me what he meant by saying subvocalisation I did not so much understand my English is not very good He meant we should read loudly?
@genesisescalante5647
@genesisescalante5647 Жыл бұрын
@@sissi8230 Subvocalization is when you read each word one by one; subvocalization can be done out loud or in your head. Jim Kwik says that we should stay away from subvocalization because it slows us down too much, which causes your brain to seek distraction, leading to less focus. The goal is to read with less subvocalization, so instead of saying the words out loud or in your head, visualize the words instead. I hope this makes sense :)
